Angry Comics — Local services in Fayetteville

The first couple times we went they where very friendly and informative. We went here last Saturday, and filled out a list for my husband to get a deck he had built. Handed him the list of over 100 cards, got some snacks and drinks for my kids and waited 45 minutes. There where a few people there looking so we went and sat down. Not a problem. I would have waited hours or came back another day. I asked the man behind the register if we could come get them later or the next day because my kids where fussing after the 45 minutes. He was polite in saying yes, but then quickly informed me that the cards weren't expensive enough and not worth his time to look for them... That it would take him about another 40 mins to find them and that he wasnt allowed to go look for them because they where not expensive enough. Well why couldn't he have told me this 45 minutes ago? Have a sign with a dollar amount limit cause now he wasted my time and his. I now have to go to another store to get help. So sorry for them I will never be back here, and I am refering all my husband's and my friends to hit up other stores like Gamers Guild, and Game On. I might have to wait a few days, but they don't have a price limit, and don't turn...

I have made a majority of my Magic The Gathering purchases over my 2 year venture into the game. I have purchased at other stores in the area and I will say I have not ONCE been disappointed with this store. The staff are always friendly, always happy to help, and will do everything they can for you. They set expectations on stock and have such a wide selection of cards. They make buying cards in bulk so easy as well! I can message the store on Facebook with my list and the turn around time is almost always same day! (With the exception of some Saturdays, it can be busy! I understand!) I find myself looking at cards online from time to time and find that this store meets and BEATS almost all online prices and prices from other LGS's. I gathered this store's primary subject was magic and similiar card games. They have a nice big store and a good selection of cards and even comics. Was really disappointed to attempt to buy a high priced comic book $50 and when I had them remove from its protective sleeve, a large portion of the back cover was missing.

I understand this may happen, but when you have hi end books in a seperate area than regular stock, I would presume it has been looked over and flaws like that should be alerted to the paying customer. On top of that the store wouldnt negotiate on the price considering the flaws. If I had not insisted on looking at book, I would have been stuck with a major flaw and paid an amount above its grade.

As far as hi end comics the store seems to price books at the high end plus, which is fine, but when not allowing an opportunity for negotiating it comes off as just...
