Called to ask if they could make black pepper shrimp although it was not listed on the menu. They said they would "ask the chefs" and call me back, which I thought was odd in general. Maybe 10 minutes later I called again and asked the same question-- it was getting late and I needed to find somewhere to order. I told them if they couldn't make it, it was totally fine and I'd find somewhere else to eat. They said they were still waiting on the response from the back and would call me back. 10 mins later after no call, I call again.. she said "Good news! We asked the owners and they said we can make that for you". She proceeds to take my order (upcharged sides, asks if I want the egg roll etc), and then gives me a time and a price.. 10-15 mins goes by, and I get a call from some rude lady telling me that black pepper shrimp was not on their menu and I could not order it and what else did I want. I told her the process I had just gone through and that I was told that they could accomadate... long story short she hung up and canceled my order. This whole situation took almost an hour. It's now past 9pm and I have to find a new place to order and hopefully be able to get some food. Waste of time and bad...
Read moreI placed an order on door dash. Called the store right after my confirmation that the order was received to be sure that they received my special instructions on how to prepare my food. I spoke with a female who insured me that they receive the order and is cooking the food. I arrive at the store and a gentleman tells me my order was cancelled by DoorDash. I asked him how and why when I never receive a cancellation and on the app it's showing my order is ready for pick up. I immediately contacted door dash and they said they are going to call the store because they never cancelled my order. I sat in front of the gentleman until he received that call while being on hold. After half an hour with playing phone tag Come to find out the real issues was with the store. Door dash offered me a promotion and the store is losing out on to much money because of the discount. The store accepts your order deem it as ready and when you go pick up they list on the app that it was picked up collect the money and they tell you that is was cancelled by door dash and that door dash will be the phone...

Whatttt?? Really? Sorry they say. That’s it i ask? Come get it they reply. Since it was delivered this isn’t an option. Not a happy diner of China Garden. Oh, nice touch. They charged me extra for the extra tofu. Notified via email, not via call/text like all door dash. And not asking if it was ok, just "we're charging you more". Check your food and your wallet...
