Carlie C's IGA — Local services in Fayetteville

Called twice the night before I needed to cash a check, and was very time crunched the following morning. Specifically asked what time someone would be there to cash my check, and the answer I received cheerfully from the lady who answered the phone "absolutely someone will be here at 7am to do that for you" and I asked "are you positive because I don't have very much time between cashing this and getting to work" again the answer read along the same lines with positive assurance. As I arrived at 720 to cash my check I receive the news that they will not be able to comply with my request until atleast 8am because the proper staff that knew how to operate the machine wouldn't be in until then... now, I understand things happen. But I asked specifically if this wouldn't happen.. because I could not afford it to happen, and yet it did. Really left a sour taste in my mouth when all they had to say was "no sir we won't be able to until 8am" and save me a 20 minute drive without accomplishing anything and ultimately wasting gas I needed to make it to work... store manager is nice, no one else there seems to know how to do...

I always enjoy going to Carlie C's this particular Carlie C's is in the Utah Shopping Center I found it when I came in the front door going into the produce the Isles were cluttered you could not really walk through them with the shopping cart also when you went down the Isles to the different ones there was thing sitting in the way of walking down those Isles on the back aisle in front of where the deli is they've got so much in front of that Deli that it blocks the flow of where you're trying to shop and walk through the store with your shopping cart you could not go in between where all of this was setting as far as the cashier the cashier was very polite he was very nice and he double-bagged my items that I got that work and goods which I thought was very good to do because sometimes cashiers don't think of that they just get them in one bag and Let It Go but this gentleman made a point of doing the double bagging and I thanked him...

This store gets a -.01 from me today. I've used this store since I moved in the area over 13 years ago. There was a customer in front of me that was asked if she was using Debit or credit. When she replied credit the cashier Teresa (CS MNGR) failed to ask for any Identification. So I asked "your store doesn't ask for ID when using credit". Teresa, who I must remind you had CS Mangr following her name said, "no, because the customer is doing it themselves". I replied, "I could've used her card". Her only reply was, "no don't do that". REALLY!!????? Carlie Cs is an alright place to shop, but this experience and what I witnessed tells me that they don't care about who it is that's using your credit card. I wouldn't recommed anyone trust them to secure their credit card if it was stolen by someone. Shame on you Teresa.
