Today I stopped in to pick up a screen protector for my daughter’s iPhone 12 Pro. I was greeted by the worker upon entering the store. They did have iPhone 12 Pro cases but they were out of the screen protectors for the iPhone 12 Pro Maxs (which is my phone). I continued to walk around the store and I do like how everything is affordable. I found the Logo Game that I was interested to play with my kids. They have a little bit of everything in that store from toys, electronics, candy, books, makeup, tees, exercise gear, home goods, posters, snacks….just a whole bunch of things that you might be looking for and didn’t expect to have. I also find some Candy Pop in which my bf likes to try different flavored popcorn. I buy the two that they have Candy Pop Butterfinger and Chips Ahoy. I walk up to pay and the sales associate was very helpful to explaining how to take a survey at the end of the transaction and if I wanted to donate for Toys for Tots. She was very patient and seemed happy to be assisting customers. She smiled and continued to greet customers coming into the store. She even wished me a good day after I paid. Her genuine great customer service is one that I haven’t seen in a long time. I didn’t get her name but please give her a raise! I would’ve given this place 5 stars but they didn’t have the screen protector...
Read moreI was shopping this morning at the Five Below in Clinton, NC. My husband and I were making small talk with Melody Blue the store manager. My husband is a jokester. Every where we go he is going to ask the manager for a job (he has a job ;). Ms. Blue, Hubby, and I talked about what it means to be in a leadership position. We agreed that how you talk to others, respecting one another,, showing empathy, being understanding, etc. are character traits of a good leader.
When Ms. Blue learned that I am a teacher, she allowed me to pick some things that my school could use for our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) cart, Academic Reader program, Field Day, etc. Christmas came early! I am elated and at a loss for words. I’m still in disbelief. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am. So I will just say, THANK yoU Ms. Blue! Read moreI understand it's the holidays and shopping is crazy... but this store was a disaster!! Nothing was in its proper place, the floors were littered with products, and trash, there were carts of boxes product not opened, the entire store looked like good will got trashed! The few items I found and purchased were ok. Any good manager knows you schedule more people during busy times. Either this is a poor manager, or a poor company standard. My cashier seemed stoned. And couldn't calculate the change after entering the incorrect amount in the register.... (my total was $23.54.... I gave her $24.00, she entered $30.00 in the register, but had to have a second employee bring out her cell phone calculator to ensure that the .46 cent change i had calculated was really correct) This was my first ever 5 Below visit. And might well be my last. I wish I had taken pics. Might well go back...
