So I thought about this all day about whether or not I should post a review but here we go.
Backstory, My sister and I live in the same state for the first time since we were children and my sister lives two hours from me and flew in my dad for the weekend. They then drove an hour and 45 minutes up to meet at this place that my sister had chosen because she was excited to have the Nutella stuffed waffles.
We go in a little after 10 AM there’s maybe one or two other people in there. The woman at the counter was like a deer in headlights when taking our order, my sister had to repeat herself multiple times which again no issue. However, the total for three adults was almost $55 which is fine until you realize what happened next.
My sister wanted to sit outside, which was perfectly fine so I stayed inside while she and my dad went outside to get a table and I spoke with the woman behind the counter asking for an ETA so that I could come in and get the food for us. Not only did the woman behind the counter. Tell us that she would be taking out our drinks and our food, but that it would be no issue to which I then asked are you sure? Granted she did bring the drinks out, We sat outside for about 15 minutes before Jasmine and I started saying that it was taking quite a long time for essentially two waffles. So a little bit after that, she decides to go in and check and not only did they bag our food to go, but they allowed it to sit.
At this point, we’re slightly annoyed, but it is what it is. We’re just talking and having a good time. I haven’t seen my dad in almost 2 years. We then opened the food and Jasmine and I realize we don’t even have a full waffle each. It’s like they had a mini waffle maker made one waffle cut it into quarters and then gave Jasmine half in myself half. It didn’t come with the whipped cream or the strawberries and had Nutella just globed on top of it. In fact we had more syrup than we had waffle. Which was quite ridiculous for $10 a plate.
As I am new to Fayetteville, and with my sister driving almost 2 hours with my father to see me this was really quite unacceptable and quite prevent preventable because I would’ve gladly come in and grab the food when it was ready, And even then what we were served was quite sad. My sister actually had gone inside to ask for the strawberries and they gave her what looked like five minced pieces of strawberry.
I understand not a lot of people will read this and that’s fine but to the company and not only will I not be going back there, But I drive for a living and locally and I get tons of tourists and people asking for breakfast spots and I will not be...
Read moreI’m sorry to say that my experience here was a huge let down to say the least. My dad is in town and we drove 1.5 hours to see my sister. I chose this place based off of the menu I saw. I was very excited to try their coffee and their “Stuffed Nutella”. From the moment I stepped up to the counter I should have known it was going to be downhill from there. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, with half n half in place of milk, and cold foam on top. The young lady working the counter asked me if I wanted caramel, and if I wanted it iced… yes ma’am that’s what I said. I then ordered the stuffed Nutella for myself, and the Mama’s Breakfast for my daughter which comes with eggs, sausage/bacon and toast, with an option of grape jelly or syrup. They said they didn’t have jelly and could give me syrup, to which I asked “syrup for toast?” Turns out they did have have jelly once they looked. My dad placed his order and then my sister placed hers. It was chilly inside so we decided to sit outside. We informed the ladies working and they said no problem, we’ll bring everything out to you. So, they bring our drinks and then 20 minutes go buy without our food, so I went in to ask. Not only had they placed our food in styrofoam containers as a to-go order, but it had been sitting on the counter so it was no longer hot and fresh. Fine, whatever we’re hungry and on a time crunch. So I open up my box, super excited for my stuffed Nutella, and I’m so disappointed. There was no whip cream, no strawberries, 2 pieces of burnt chocolate chip waffles that look like they came from a mini waffle maker, and barely any Nutella. I went inside and asked for strawberries and they asked me if it was supposed to have them… I don’t work there but yes. The menu states it has all of the above toppings. Oh, and for 3 people (plus a toddler) the total was $63!! Absolutely outrageous. I will not be returning, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who asks for recommendations. What a sad start to the weekend....
Read moreWe visited this place around 745 am on Valentines Day. We went here because my husband knows I love breakfast & wanted to grab a little Valentine's Day breakfast before going to work. I was excited to visit!
We entered. No customers. Two employees were behind the counter, made eye contact with us & continued doing whatever, then few seconds past & one went to the back. The other continued what she was doing.
For me this would've been grounds for walking right out BUT I didn't want throw away my husband's nice gesture. He knows I wanted to come here bc I had seen sponsored ads from this place and the food looked good.
Girl (young, lightskin) comes register, no hi how yal doing, sorry for the wait, what can I get you, NOTHING. My husband even had to speak first because she literally just stood at the register like "go"... but anyway... After my husband starts stating what we want she starts talking so low he had to constantly ask her to repeat herself and lean in to hear her.
Even still I was like just get the food and go lol but even the food was a disappointment. I tried looking for pics of the inside of people waffle but mind just tasted like dough, wasn't crispy or fluffy or nothing, so was my husbands and his fried chicken wasn't seasoned or nothing, just there.
The iced latte was pretty good though and I would recommend. (Even though when they were ready she just placed them up there (see photo) and don't even say nothing!) like what?!
Price is expensive it was like 30-35, because when I told my husband I didn't like it he mentioned the price.
Really saddened by my experience because they have good reviews, the food looked good & it's a very cool vibe inside, even though it was cold but at least we ripped the bandaid off (visiting a restaurant despite reviews or other opinions to experience it for yourself)
They don't have military discount but she said they were giving a free...
