This place is fantastic! My brother and I went here Tuesday (we are doing keto but took a cheat day... turns out they actually have a keto platter, which we'll try sometime when we're not having a cheat day). This was our first time here. What a phenomenal experience we had! Trox took care of us-explained the menu, told us about everything, patiently waited while we perused and thought about what we would want. Trox was very kind and helpful. We definitely enjoyed the biscuits, but... The grits were so creamy and delicious. The sausage gravy was (according to my brother) even better than the fantastic (vegetarian friendly) mushroom gravy. Shiitake, I think. The fried green tomatoes were excellent... a bit on the spicy side for me, but delicious, and I'll definitely get them again. Lol, they're even more delicious dipped in grits or the mushroom gravy. :) but they came with ranch-thinner than I make it, but absolutely wonderful ranch. The icing on the cinnamon biscuit was really good. Next time, I'm looking forward to trying the biscuit with the custard and the smashbrowns. Worthy of note, if you drink orange juice, that they have freshly squeezed-to-order orange juice.

The food was fantastic, and Trox even went out of his way to come by and check up on us and discuss our experience with us...the service was even better than the food! This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from the time we entered the door until well after we left, as we continued to discuss how glad we were we chose to go here that day. If you haven't come here yet, don't wait; I only wish we had come...

You've heard of the "Changing of the Guards" in Britain. Welp, this place used to use good coffee, now they use cheap coffee. Bad. So their caramel coffee latte is weak, flavorless. They did a changing of the brand. How do I know...FIRST, as I was drinking it, I noticed it right away. Second, I called to ask. They said they indeed are trying a new brand. Weak, weak, weak. And, if any Ding Dong says "just pay for an extra coffee shot," you're not thinking. Why pay an extra $2 for that extra shot of Expresso to get the SAME coffee strength that ONE shot brought with the other brand??!! Boycotting their caramel coffee lattes. Something's Brewing on Raeford road is just as good. Above the line was 3 weeks ago. Today, January 14, 2023, this morning, got a caramel coffee latte, never had foam on it before, I liked the fact that there was never any foam. What a waste of space. Welp, this morning, get home, ton of foam, scooped it out, an inch of coffee latte was missing. Never order a heated one unless you ask no foam, get the cold one with NO ice. The dang thing is already too expensive and they are trying to make more money by not filling it up near the top, didn't say TO the top, NEAR the top. Stop ripping of customers by leaving a one inch gap. You never did that before. Yep, I ALWAYS take the top off and it's filled close to the top but today, TODAY, I am not happy. Make sure you get the warm coffee latte but say no foam and the cold one with easy ice or no ice. Learned...

Came here with my family this morning. Waited in line outside. That was fine. Once inside ordered our food and stood in the center of the restaurant not knowing where to sit because we weren’t ever told. Finally seated after asking the host where our table was but we weren’t told we needed to pick up our food and drinks. We figured that out after watching other diners. The coffee thermos wasn’t working, when I told the host he asked one of the girls in the kitchen who rudely said she had just filled them. The hold politely repeated to me what she said so I tried again and still no coffee. He opened all the thermos to find there were no pumps in any of them. Turns or the employee with the attitude forgot to put them in there. When exiting the bathroom my 4 yo daughter almost bumped into the same rude female employee while she swept … my daughter said “ oops sorry” and the female employee looked at my daughter like she was irritated and said nothing. At the end of our breakfast we got up and left. The host ran behind us outside and told us we were supposed to bus our table— which is fine but no one told us that. Over all the communication and organization of the staff was terrible and ruined our experience. If you’re going to have a “serve yourself “ type of environment then you should probably prompt your guest in the beginning about what to do or ask if we have ever been...
