I quickly wanted to share my experience about my years of shopping with the 35th Avenue family. I have been supporting the store for about 15 years, ever since I moved to Washington. The staff has always been extremely welcoming, quick to help, and amazing about answering any questions. 35th has an up to date selection of products, from pro model decks to shoes to clothing. I love the store and am so grateful to have the best skateshop in the area so close to my home.
I have always loved coming into the skateshop and chatting with the guys. As I have got older, I dont have the amount of time that I once did and I miss the chats. I stopped by last week and was greeted like an old friend and hung around for an hour and chatted with the fellas. This is an experience you will never find at any chain retailer and my appreciation for the time devoted to our chat will continue to remind me why I have always loved 35th so much. From my first days here in Washington when I was a much younger to present day, 35th avenue will always be the one for me.
If you are looking for a real experience and looking to be treated like a human and not some sales number like they do at the chains, then for sure, 35th is the shop for you. I look forward to my next time in when the new 35th apparel arrives at the shop, or I break a deck. Whichever comes first. Until then, that conversation may have been the most important one I have had in a VERY VERY long time. Thank you 35th, you're one in a billion!

Read moreI cannot rave more about this place. I found them through a website that I was searching for snowboards on and the website said they had the particular one I was looking for in stock, so I made the 2 hour trip up (traffic woo). I had my heart set on lib tech, more particularly the T. Rice Orca board or the skate banana 2021 model. The guy informed me that the one I was looking at was definitely not my size and this late in the season, there wouldn’t be much selection. I was pretty bummed because I had just driven such a long way (my fault) and thought I was going to leave with nothing but THEN, the guy helping me went and spoke to his coworkers, went to the back, and pulled out a T. Rice pro, it was their demo board but they had no intentions to ride it anymore and he sold it to me for such an amazing price, I couldn’t pass it up (it was my size too). With coming in such under budget (I mean I intended to buy and walk out with a $650 board) I was able to purchase bindings that are the correct size for me. The guys there waxed my new board, put the bindings on and all. I went this last weekend and the board was perfect! They went absolutely above and beyond and I can guarantee for any future snowboard purchase they will have my business. I’ll be sending my friends their way next season as well. Thank you guys so much! I...
Read moreThis place is awesome. Jake and Josh, if you're reading this, thanks for the hook up on the cruiser board, it glides without wheel bite flawlessly. I'm pretty new to skateboarding and after riding a $60 longboard from Amazon, I felt it was time to graduate to the real gear and though it was almost 3x the cost of my longboard, my popsicle cruiser board was well worth it. Like comparing cheap slip on shoes to Air Maxes the first time you try them. The customer service was personalized and welcoming. Super chill guys. Even hooked me up with soft wheels that glow in the dark which is perfect since I usually get time to skate at night being a night shift nurse. These guys are very knowledgeable and will present you with a variety of options. They'll even order a board for you if your size isn't in stock!...
