Yummy Teriyaki — Restaurant in Federal Way

Update 2020: amidst the COVID crisis this shop has become take-out only but is still open.

I've been coming here for years. At first it was just cause it was convenient but after trying the food it was also cause it was good and fairly priced. Surprised there's still stuff on the menu I haven't tried yet but I've never been disappointed. The lady at the counter has always been very friendly to us as well. You can't go wrong with Teriyaki Chicken or Beef but this was the first place I ever saw Teriyaki Salmon and I love it. I don't need one now cause I'm familiar with it but I don't think they print menus to take home anymore. She let me take pics of the board with my phone awhile back, though. Average price for 2 people is around 20-25 dollars depending if you order extra meat or sides. Waiting times are usually no longer than about 10-15 minutes in my experience. Friday and Saturday evenings may be an exception, though if there's a lot of orders to fill. I waited maybe 20 minutes when I went earlier today around 7PM and...

I've been to Yummy Teriyaki several times in the past few months. I love it. I'm an avid fan of the chicken/short rib combo. Before I would drive to Seattle for my favorite grub, but now that I have found Yummy 😋, I'll save on gas. At every point of transaction with the staff, I've had no problems. They've been great. And the food is awesome, excellent. Even the short ribs are always juicy and tender. As long as it's this way always, You have a customer for life. And shame on those who are posting fake pics and reviews. Because of the malicious way in which ya'll trying to destroy the family's livelihood, they shall be doubly blessed. Best Chinese ever! They have HUGE portions. Their sweet and sour sauce could be better but I've also tasted worse (if y'all really wanna have bomb s&s sauce find out where burger king gets theirs [and avoid McDonald's s&s]). You get a side salad and it comes with this AMAZING sauce that's better (😲😲) than s&s sauce!!!! I'm in LOVE with it and would DIE to know what it's called. 💔 I eat here AS MUCH as a financially can 😂😂💖💖 I've heard (from past reviews ) that the (NICE) lady seems racist to blacks. I've seen TONS of black people come in while I'm waiting and she is STILL nice to everyone!! She's a nice lady and y'all need to stop spreading hateful rumors...
