Picanteria el Cevichito — Restaurant in Federal Way

I feel a little bad posting this review, but the way they made my husband and I feel was not okay. My husband and I came in excited about trying this place. We went in and sat down. A few people came after us. Both my husband and I ordered the ceviche, which it dose not take long to prepare. We were patient waiting for our order, but we started noticing that people that arrived after us, their food was being served. This restaurant is really small and there is no way our waiter could forget we were there. After everyone else around us got their food, we waited 5 minutes to see if our food was coming out. Nothing. We got up and asked the waiters to charge for our drinks, and the waiter started telling us our food was ready, there's no way, it takes ceviche 45 minutes to prepare for two people, We left feeling discriminate by this place, like they didn't want to served us because they thought we were not going to pay, or something. If the owner of this place reads this, please train your staff right and teach them to treat all customers...

I really really hope the owners see this because I love this place! I used to live in Lynwood and would come here when I would miss home because they make auquachile just like my mom and she’s from Nayarit. Today after I tasted my aguachile there was virtually no salt in it. This is the second time I come for takeout and the aquachile is missing flavor! Please please taste test before serving because it’s so disappointing to taste this and not get that immediate satisfaction. Either way the food is delicious. Their menus is small but on IG they always post stuff that isn’t on there, so if you would like more options I suggest...

One of our favorite Mexican places in all the PNW. Wow these aguachiles go a long way in proving that Mexican food is the best cuisine on the planet. We eat a lot of halal tacos since we own our own taco company but these are crazy. You have to get red the spiciest and green aguachiles don’t miss the shrimp quesadilla which is quesadilla perfection. We will be back many more times! And thank you for all the beautiful indigenous Mexican art also! Sorry we don’t have more photos of the food we ate too fast it...
