Christmas Shop On the River — Local services in Fernandina Beach

Overpriced. Found the same thing online for 3/4 of the price less. Compared other items and everything was significantly overpriced compared to online. Bought a very expensive item. Not even an hour passed and I tried returning it. I didn't even leave the downtown area and the item was still in the box. They wouldn't even try to contact the manager for an exception. They claimed they couldn't make an exception because the register didn't have a return button. If they would've worked with us, I would've recommended them. Very cute store, and so much I would have purchased. We walked in and the shopkeeper did not acknowledge our presence or any other patron that walked in to the store after us. My cousin purchased a sand dollar ornament and even at checkout the clerk did not say as much as a simple "Thank You" after she checked out. It wasn't until we were walking out and I said to my cousin, "You are better than me" that the shopkeeper said, "Have a nice day." Come here and expect to be ignored and save your money. We were taking a $27 ornament off of an overcrowded tree and it fell/broke. We were planning to buy an undamaged one but the store was making us buy the broken one as well. They didn't offer a discount or anything even though the tree was over crowded and they did not have any others out.
