I used to really enjoy coming to this store and buying little gifts for my family and friends. Today I had the worst experience at this establishment. The staff is usually friendly and inviting, assisting me with all of my questions/needs. I walked in today wanting to wash my hands prior to browsing the store. The employee was attending to another customers needs, so I just went to back to the restroom to wash my hands as I have done before. As I walked into the restroom the employee began to shout at me and tell me, “You can’t just walk in here and use our restroom without permission. We aren’t that type of business.” I tried informing him that I was just going to wash my hands before shopping, and didn’t see any signs about not being allowed to use the restroom. He barked to say how that’s not allowed and that “I’ve owned this store for 30 years and people like you come in here go to the back and steal my merchandise”. I did not enjoy being stereotyped because I am younger, I really used to enjoy shopping at this location of Go Fish, but after today, they will never have my...
Read moreVisited Amelia island with my wife, walking the streets under the hot sun browsing the various shops. As we came in here, a purse caught my wife’s eye which she wanted to buy as a gift for my mother. Settling on getting the purse, we decided to rest on a bench at the back of the store for 10 minutes as the weather was hot outside and our legs were tired. As we were browsing our phones and minding our own business, In about 5 minutes, a blond woman rudely accosted us and demands to know if we are planning to buy the purse. She irately states at us she has other customers and that the store closed in thirty minutes . A bizarre display of outrageous behavior, avoid this overpriced kitsch and shop at any of the other establishments which sell the same things if you value good...
Read moreThe store is lovely but the salesperson/manager(?) was not so lovely. She was overbearing and rude to customers (and to the other lady working who seemed scared of her). I tried on a shirt - I was brought a tank top to try on with it. I noticed it had a pull in it at that time. After trying it on I liked how it looked but didn't want the tank with the pull. I looked on the rack but no more in my size. I looked at the display and was my size. I started taking it off and the lady snapped at me. Hindsight I prob should have asked but but no reason to be that way. I explained and thought she traded it out. Nope she didn't - she wrapped up up the tank with the pull. It was our last night there so didn't realize until I was home 6 hours away. Definitely not a customer...
