Formal Complaint: Store Disorganization and Service Deficiencies
I am writing to formally document my unsatisfactory experience at your Bayou location. The store's organizational standards and customer service fall significantly below acceptable levels.
The issues begin with management. During my visit on a delivery day, despite numerous staff members present, not one employee acknowledged me or made eye contactâwith the sole exception of the self-checkout attendant.
What should have been a brief 10-minute visit to purchase a single undergarment consumed over an hour of my time. I was forced to physically move merchandise to locate my desired item, yet still completed a $100 purchase despite this inconvenience.
For perspective, I subsequently returned an item to your 9 Mile location, which consistently maintains superior standards. As noted in my previous feedback, I regularly choose to bypass your Bayou location entirely.

Changing the star rating to reflect the improvements. Their employees are very friendly and accommodating as well. Before COVID19, I really enjoyed this location, the store was always well kept and organized. I went last week. The entire store is a complete disaster! From the clothing to the bathrooms. Everything is a complete mess. I found myself organizing a clothing rack because it was so hard to even look at what was there! There are sales stickers on the shelves that are outdated, and I was charged more than expected at checkout due to their inability to keep up with the store. I am very unimpressed with this change, and will likely go to another location in the future. It is so unprofessional and not buyer friendly at all.    Read moreI love Target but be very careful with the staff of this store. Just because something has a sales tag or has a secret sales on the website/app doesnât mean they will ring up that way. I bought an item that was listed as on sale, $15 off, and it rang up regular price. I requested assistance from the staff working the self checkout to which I was told âItâs not on sale. You will have to pay full price.â I replied âNo, they sales tag is still on the shelf and I double checked itâs sales dates, the sale ends day after tomorrow.â She huffed and went to check the shelf with the sales tag. Sure enough! The item is still on sale. She put in her numbers and changed the price to the sale price. I politely said âI appreciate your help and understanding.â She didnât say anything in return, just looked at me and walked off.
