STAY AWAY!
The store on University Parkway 9 mile Road is absolutely horrible. I will never be ordering from Panera again because multiple times now. They have delivered my food to the wrong address. Yesterday they did not even deliver it at all. They said it was DoorDash’s fault. DoorDash said it was Panera‘s fault and that he “just left the food on a random upstairs doormat “. so I had to take 30 minutes out of my workday to go to every building in my complex to look for my food with no luck. When I called the store all I got were excuses about how they don’t have anything to do with DoorDash and it was DoorDash‘s fault. And they could not remake my food because they were out of eggs. And they’d have to speak to a manager about the possibility of a refund. And that they would redeliver it today, January 10, 2024 at 9 AM. As of 3:45 PM my food has still not been delivered. I verify the address multiple times. I told them I needed it by 9 o’clock at the latest. And now no one at the store will return my call , I am extremely dissatisfied as well as disgusted at the lackadaisical attitude of your staff, the laziness and incompetence of not even being able to deliver an order correctly even though it’s listed five times on my profile. And the general attitude of being brushed off and an annoyance not a customer , I’ve had some pretty horrible experiences with Panera before, but this is by far the absolute worst. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on because with the exorbitant prices that I’m being charged, the least they could do is actually deliver what I paid for, and deliver it in a timely manner with a pleasant attitude. I’ve now lost not only $20 worth of food but another $20 a charge to my credit card that has not been reimbursed so that’s $40 and nothing to show for it. The staff needs to be fired and you need to start from scratch because clearly the management at that location does not care about customers or customer service , as well as the drivers who can’t even be bothered to follow basic instructions. A week later they still have not refunded me or replaced mu food as promised. Unless you want to be scammed and screwed over, avoid this location at all cost. Read moreI’m only hitting one star cause I have to. I don’t feel good and all I ever want is Panera bread. Broccoli bread bowl. Extra bread loaves. I haven’t been to this location before. I’ve moved recently. But I won’t be back to this location. I haven’t decided to if I’m turned off Panera bread period. If I do I’ll drive out of my way to a different location than this awful one.
Let’s start with Miss attitude no customer service having 7:49pm Front counter cashier Olive. I walked in and asked if I could order thru her? She rudely pointed to a self serve tablet thing. I went to it only to see four people walk past me and order thru her. Than the tablet didn’t work and I was behind said four people after getting there first and being brushed off. When it’s finally my turn I get to find out you stop making bread an hour before closing?????? To control on Waste?????? You have a packed place. Drive thru and inside packed!!!! Bread is in your freaking name??? Panera BREAD, you stop making it a hour beforehand?? Donate to the freaking homeless than. Jesus. This is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. And hour before closing. Place packed.
I then witness miss attitude olives interaction with a door dash employee? He came up, checked on an order. She said it wasn’t ready. He moved to the side... was there for about 15 minutes or so and came back up. She said I don’t think it’s ready yet. He then pointed to a small area of to go bags and asked what those were. And she said to go orders. He said all the to go orders???? And she said well yeah. He than asked why she didn’t look or inform him he could look over there and instead told him multiple times a order wasn’t ready?
I don’t know if it’s every employee there or just her but someone needs retrained clearly.
Back to my disappointment....I come to check on my order and she rudely points to the board. Try to ask her a question she rudely raises her voice THE BOARD. I get my two orders plastic containers of soap (cause they stopped making bread an hour before closing) and one piece of freaking bread. Two orders. Can’t have bread bowls and my normal loaves but now I get one piece of freaking roll...

Read moreSo I decided to try Panera Bread for the first time. I was sadly very disappointed. I ordered the turkey alvacado on a plan bagel. They ask if I want a whole or half. So as any normal person would assume I said whole because I wanted a whole bagel. Nope not here, a "whole" means two bagel. Hey drive thru guy. Thanks for the heads up. Ok, I got over that. Whatever! Now the price for a small salad and a "whole" bagel sandwich was $18 and change. My first thought was this better be a great sandwich. Nope! There was almost no meat. I had to take the meat from the other half, a.k.a the whole other bagel, just to almost taste the turkey. That still wasn't enough to be called a turkey sandwich. Neither bagel have enough turkey to even cover the bagel. Yes, I changed the bread, but either change the price to fit a bagel sandwich or actually just give 1 bagel with a good amount of meat. You know so you can taste it. My back round is the food service industry (20+ yrs)and I wouldn't have server it. Having said all that, if I was to ever come back it would be just to get bread.
