This place used to have a lot of pokemon cards and packs. First they used to sell boxes of single pokemon cards and had others sell pokemon cards but not anymore. then after that they atleast had packs and lots of rare single cards. Now they only have a few single cards.

But what the last straw for me was that I accidently went to an "out of bounds" zone where there was a door to the closet but there was absolutely no sign to indicate staff only and the door was open I went in because I was wondering where the pokemon cards are

Then there was this bald big guy with the beardwho came out of the bathroom and he was being rude. Rather than straight up telling me that I wasn't suppose to be here he just said hello can I help you? And I said oh no I'm just looking. I was expecting him to walk on through but he then told me that I wasn't suppose to be in there.

I apologized and explained my intentions. Then nonverbal, instead of him asking if i found these the sleeves in the closet or not, He put out his hand jestering me to give him the sleeves I was holding because he assumed that I found these clear sleeves in the closet. While I was in the store, I was looking for some clear card sleeves. I said that I found these outside of the closet. I only got just an okay while i was apologizing a lot for being there.

I felt so uncomfortable after that that I just Put back the sleeves from the area I found them and left the store so I wouldnt deal with him. I just ended up going to gamestop t9 get the sleeves from there. I'm not going back to this store anymore

9/10 - verdict: great as a fitchburg video game, comic book, and hobby shop stop!

This place is an excellent place for anybody to visit who is into video games, Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40k, Pokemon TCG, magic, etc. For my review i'll be focusing on the video games, due to that being my forte.

First thing, the employees. They may have changed over the years, but they have always been really cool, understandable and nice people. Every time I need something, they can help me see where it is, or if they have it over the phone.

Second, the variety. There is SOOOO many different items that these guys have. From the well known Nintendo consoles, all the way to the Neo-Geo Pocket Color, they have a great variety of stuff!

Third, the stock. Constantly changing, constantly interesting. One week, rare Gamecube games like Pikmin, Pikmin 2, and Paper Mario TTYD, then the next week will have Pokemon Soulsilver and Pokemon White. There are some games that stay for a while, but there are others that come and go quickly.

Fourth and final, prices. These guys have some fair prices for a hobby shop. 100 dollars for a Sega Dreamcast with all cables and a controller is great, but what about a Playstation 1 for 50 dollars? Or a Nintendo 64 for 100 as well? Basically, prices are some of the best prices i've seen in years around...

I've been going to this store infrequently for a really long time but I feel like this store has lost its magic some time ago.

It could be that I've just changed but I've gone from constantly finding stuff that I like here to basically never finding anything I want here.

Their magic singles collection is very small, and I find that a lot of cards tend to sit in their case as they don't seemingly move very often. They have incredibly unorganized bulk to the point employees suggest to not bother looking through them.

The comics section has been modified over time but it seems like they have almost too many of them now - and they take up a large section that is hard to thumb through.

The other collectibles they have are often neat trinkets to look at but never own - either because they are very expensive when companies to other places like eBay or appeal to an incredibly narrow group of customers.

This isn't really much in their control but every time I've gone to play modern here I never feel comfortable, either it be the physical table and chairs or the interactions I have with the players being strangely aggressive or negative while playing.
