Our drive into town is about an hour and 15 minutes. We arrive to the store on Saturday at 4:50 to pick up the couches we ordered. We then get informed that they are unable to assist us because they are closing at 5pm and that all the staff needed to clock out by 5. The employee Megan informed us that she called, but never informed us should we arrive 10 minutes till the store closes that they will not be able to assist us. The manager Jean was no help at all. He told us the same thing and our response to him was "if a customer is in the store before closing time, before doors where locked you should be ready to give you business, you would assist the customer." He was very rude and I told him I would like the corporate number to explain the situation and inform the lack of service and his response, "go ahead I don't care". The manager just simply gave the negative attitude of that's that and we can't help you and walked backed into the office. After we left I walked back in to make sure I get there names. I asked Megan for the copy of the call log on when she called us to support her statement and her response was, "no I don't need to show you that." These employees need to be accountable for their negative attitudes to customers. With that experience they do not need to be in that work field of customer relations. Read moreI was hesitant to rent furniture in the first place... They promised a delivery time of 3p on Friday at the latest but will try and squeeze us in on Wednesday. On Friday I call to confirm they will be here at 3. I am told it will actually be closer to 4... then at 5:45 We finally call again, because they haven't showed up... they have not called. They start making excuses and trying to BS us. "We actually have you scheduled between 5 and 7... We only have one driver today and he's running around...."
Frustrating, to the extreme. The worse thing a business like this could do to a new and uncertain customer, is fail to give anything short of great service. They didn't even give decent or average service. They could have at least called us.
But to LIE and say we weren't scheduled when they told us we were scheduled, not once but twice...to cover for their short handed situation, instead of call us so we could plan around them is just...
