I went in to get my earrings fixed. Instead of fixing them, they made new ones entirely. The one on the right is the new earring, and the left are the old. When I took my earrings in initially I spoke with the jeweler who said that making new ones "might" be necessary but I specifically asked to be contacted before that happened. I went so far as to say that I was fine with only keeping a few of the stones (even the chipped one) but emphasized that keeping at least some of the stones was important to me if at all possible. I was contacted on 2/16 and I was under the impression that replacing the backing would be possible. I even texted my mom as much on that day. When I got my earrings, I was shocked to find that they had simply remade them. I went home but called later and asked if I could return the earrings as I did not realize I would be getting new earrings rather than my repaired ones. I was told that this would not be possible. According to them, I was informed that new earrings would be made, which was news to me. Maybe I misunderstood on the phone, but I truly thought they were repairing, not replacing. I had taken these earrings to other jewelers (who also gave me the option to replace) previously. Each jeweler I went to told they were not repairable, so I don't think the inability to repair them was a lack of skill at all. I do wish I would have been informed that they could not be repaired. I included pictures of the original and new earrings. I (personally) don't think the new earrings look similar to my original ones. The stones are both opal but have different dominant colors, they are bigger, and there is only one silver line rather than two. I might be biased though as I did spend around two months under the impression that I would be getting my original earrings repaired, or more specifically some/all of the same stones placed in new backings. The people there were kind and professional. The earrings seem like they are good quality. Had I been okay with replacing my earrings (or had I been aware that would happen) I think I would have been extremely happy with the quality of earrings for the price I paid. I don't feel they intentionally mislead me, but I wish I could return the earrings...
Read moreI went in to get my husband a new cross. After looking at many options with the salesmen and placing my order, the cross that was delivered for me was not the same as the one we had chosen. The women that was there looked up what I had ordered and agreed it was not what the catalog showed. At this time she showed me options for replacing the part of the cross that was very different from the piece ordered. While I did understand her trying to replace the part, I stated several times I'd like the original piece I had picked. She said she would reach out to the company to see about get it corrected. I later received a call to come pick up my piece with the new part there jeweler had put on. When I went to pick up the piece it still was not what I was wanting she told me that now they had worked on it, therefore the issue could not be corrected as the company they order from would not take it. I feel that if the situation was able to be fixed by the company they never should have worked on it in the first place. Now im stuck with a piece of jewelry that I did not choose and am not happy with. She also stated that the catalogs just have things they no longer offer, so I would be careful to have them check that your item is avaliable before placing the order and being told they will not refund it while knowing and acknowledging that it is not what I...

The selection was excellent, the service even better. The prices were extraordinary. The reaction I received from my wife at the restaurant was even well above how stunned I knew she would be. OMG-and-a-half!! Thank YOU ALL (Lisa, Ryan, Tim & Reba) from the bottom...
