Big Lots is a great store if you are going on a budget however you got to have a truck because it's really pricey for the delivery there ! $75 well get furniture delivered and I think that's per piece don't quote me on that but I know it's $75 for delivery may I could be everything that you buy or per peace so you might want to clarify that with the salesperson the only thing I don't like is they follow you around like you're going to steal their furniture or something LOL right out the front door and sky and of comical or I can help you with something can I help you something is there anything I can help you with is there anything I can do for you???    Read moreBought a loveseat here and paid for the 3 year extended warranty. After less than 5 months it started grinding when you rocked in it and one of the foot rests started sagging on one side. I called the warranty and they referred me back to the store as it was less than a year and they handle all issues within that time frame. I called the store and they told me to bring it back. I asked if we could upgrade, she put me on hold to ask her manager named Laurie. She said that we could return this item and then we could purchase something else - because who wants another of the same couch that started having issues after 5 months. They tell us that we would have to bring the couch back to the store. I then arrange to get it back to the store only to arrive and have them tell me that they will only exchange it for the exact same item - which is apparently poorly made. They refused to do ANYTHING for the inconvenience, they also let me know that this is the only exchange they will do on this item as well. The extended warranty does not kick in until after one year, so if it breaks AGAIN I am simply stuck with a BROKEN COUCH until I can claim it on the warranty. If this replacement couch only lasts 5 months like the other did, then I am stuck with a broken couch for 2-3 months until the warranty kicks in! Jim or Laurie did not care about the inconvenience or the "miscommunication" that was entirely their fault. It's not because they didn't have nice things; it's because this is not the place for overpriced things. People don't want a $25 throw pillow when they can get one at Wal-Mart for $10 and grab a set of interchangeable covers on Amazon for another $10. And it's not like they are marking up to put things on a generous clearance price. No - they are just marking up. And up. And up. Do yourself a favor and shop around because a better deal is easily found over the prices at Big Lots. I gave five stars for customer service. My mom had a shopping cart full and I had one job - hold onto her card. Where was it? At home in my cargo pants. The staff simply suspended the order and placed it behind the register. I was able to go home, grab the card, let the dogs out to pee, circle back, and pay with no problem. That is something I appreciate.
