Absolutely horrible customer service. I sent my wife's engagement ring and wedding band in to be thoroughly cleaned and have them soldered together December 26th and was given a promise date of January 11th for service to be completed and the rings back in our possession. We leave for our destination wedding in Florida on the 17th so I was pleased with the promise date. That's about all I am pleased with. I was contacted around 4:30pm today with "good news and bad news." The good news was that the rings are cleaned and look perfect, the bad news was that they didn't get soldered together like the work order stated. I voiced my displeasure and was told that they could send them back out but couldn't guarantee we'd receive them back before we leave for our wedding. I didn't have time to go to the store as I had to go to work at 5pm so my wife, Kristi, went to see what could be done for us. The manager told her that it was simply human error so he offered her a gift certificate for the inconvenience, which obviously is worth nothing to us. He then said he'd rush the rings to be soldered and claims they'll be able to have them back by the 16th (how can they get the same service done in 6 days that couldn't be properly completed in 16 days?) I spent way too much money to have such a poor level of customer service. I bought her band, engagement ring, and upgraded the diamond all at once. When I originally purchased the rings I signed up for a particular low interest deal in store, but when I got my credit statement they didn't have me signed up for any deal. When I asked the store for help they told me it's out of their hands and I need to talk to Kay Credit. I also took the rings in for their 6 month cleaning and warranty check up in October. One month later I received an email from Kay stating that I had not brought the rings in and was at risk of voiding my warranties. When I asked the store about this and brought them my paperwork proving that I brought the rings in, they brushed it under the rug and called it a simple computer error.
I have had issues from the start and absolutely regret my decision of spending such a large sum of money with a company who clearly does not care about their customers. I planned to get another band to double band her engagement ring but will not be doing so as I refuse to spend another penny here. I hope this long, drawn out review makes it up far enough for positive changes to be made with them because as it stands now, Kay Jewelers and all Signet Jewelers Stores have lost...

She helped me and my now husband find our perfect wedding bands for us at a price that we could afford, took the time to explain to us the various possible alternative payment plans we could utilize if needed and the specific differences between each, and also let us try on lots of "just for funsies" rings to help us learn what jewelry we like and what we don't for down the line when we aren't so young and broke lol.
Neither of us have ever had the money to splurge on things like jewelry, so I had never thought about all the specifics of what I would want my ring to look like down the line when we have the means to get them for each other as an anniversary gift. By the end of our appointment with Jill, I had learned so much about myself and what specific cut, stones, colors, and stone sizes I truly loved and what ones just weren't for me, and my husband did as well. It was such a nice experience being able to try on so many different rings and watch my husband do the same, and having someone as kind and as thoughtful as Jill there to guide us through this process that otherwise probably would have felt overwhelming.
She created the perfect wishlist for us on the Kay's website that made it easy for us to find everything we had tried on that day. She also was highly knowledgeable and answered the many questions we had for her very eloquently throughout the appointment--it is very apparent that she likes what she does and knows what she is talking about. She has a way of carrying herself that is very confident and makes you as a customer feel very assured and like you can trust that you are in great hands. You will feel very happy and cared for during and after your appointment with Jill, I can...
Read moreOne star is pretty unfair but unfortunately Google does not allow negative stars so this will have to suffice. Kay Jewelers was the worst possible decision I could've ever made for purchasing my engagement ring for my wife. What should have been an incredible experience was a giant headache full of arguments, lies and stress. I purchased a Neil lane ring, which I will say was exactly what I was looking for and it was beautiful but I purchased just the ring and they said there is a wedding band available but I did not have the money to afford both at the same time so I asked I can come anytime to get this correct? I was assured that it would be available whenever I could come back. So fast forward 1 year I return to purchase the band, of course we can get that for you sir. So I bought it and had it there in time for our wedding, when I got it the rings did not line up but they said that's because it hasn't been sized yet and once it is fused together everything will be fine. Fast forward it is sent out to get fused and suddenly it's gone for 3 weeks, no one returns any calls and I have no idea what's going on. After several attempts to get my ring back the manager finally calls says it's been there for a week and I can come get it, I knew it was wrong when I purchased it and there is no refund or attempt at making this right without some astronomical fee involved. I would never recommend or return to Kay Jewelers and I suggest you...
