Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Florence

I had the worst experience yesterday!!! I swear if it wasn’t for the food being great I would not be back. First off I accidentally placed my order as pickup inside instead of curbside. Tried calling to tell them because to be honest I don’t do well with crowds or interacting with others. I go in to get my stuff and I stand in the line a couple minutes then I saw a sign that said order pickup so I went over there. I am standing there waiting because y’all were busy which was understandable but I’d never done order pickup before. This lady who does work there is looking at me like I have two heads and just walks right past doesn’t ask can I help or did you place a pickup order or anything. So another worker saw me and said to another lady can you please see what she needs. Not in the most pleasant way either. I was already a bundle of nerves having to come in to get my order. So I got my food and get home and I’d ordered one of the buttercream flower green cookies and I’m like I seriously would have checked my food before I left but didn’t. I let it slide that the $1.99 cookie wasn’t in there. Everything else was including my free small size yellow looking cookie. Oh but the soup I ordered was so salty I had to throw it away. I normally get broccoli salad but loaded potato soup sounded good. I feel weird about coming back too. I will be back it will just be awhile. I’ve been here before with my mom at a not busy at all time and the service was great the cashier was nice and all the couple times I’ve been with my mom. I even left that cashier a tip which is the best worker y’all have and I wish I knew her name. I never leave cashiers tips so I’m other words I would say she is a 5 star employee. I was very appalled by the Chicken Salad Chick in Florence AL! I placed a $43 order on the app for pick up ….my dad picked up order and drove home…. and one item was wrong … I called and spoke with a manager who seemed very nice and she apologized and said to come back and they would fix it… she said just tell them you spoke with a manager (it’s like a 35 mile round trip for THEIR mistake) …. Upon arrival to pick the scoop THEY messed up … my dad was treated with hostility, and the manager almost refused to give the item they left out of original order … after presenting a picture plus receipt of what we ordered and what we received … the manager threw the food at him and walked away ….

I am very disappointed as I absolutely LOVE chicken salad chick … this is probably the 4th time I’ve eaten there in last week (min order was over $32) ….. so apparently chicken salad chick doesn’t care about their customers that much …

Apparently my money is better spent at other restaurants which treat their customer with a little...

Last three times I’ve been here we’ve walked in and walked right back out. (Or drove up and drove away)

First time, they had a paper sign on the drive thru saying all our flavors are out ask what we have. We asked and it was 2 flavors so we left. Next time we came in, they didn’t have a single option for the grab and go and again most of the flavors were out, so we left.

Today, I had family in town who do not have a Chicken salad chick near them so we decided to stop in. We walk in to be told again by the cashier that they’re out of the top 5 flavors. We ask if she can mix cranberry kelly and we would wait. She said no because everything is made fresh. If it’s made fresh why can’t it be made fresh? Manager and two staff sitting in the lobby eating while out of flavors. Your across the street from a super target and a sams club, you can get anything you need to keep your product on the shelf.
