Five Below — Local services in Florence

I used to have this rated 5 stars. It's now 4 stars because I had ordered a site to store pickup and barely half of it was fulfilled. I had a cart online ready to go but before I could buy everything it removed some items stating some of the things were out of stock which of course isn't a problem. They can't control what they have in stock during the holidays.

My email had a note saying that due to lack of availability they did not fill the whole order - which is fine, except I went in there to try to find Christmas presents anyway even then though the site to store pickup was to decrease stress on myself.

I found the "Hello Kitty" bowling set I wanted to get for my niece on a stack of more bowling sets (they had a few other character sets and a couple other of the "Hello Kitty" sets) that was removed from my cart entirely and my husband found a "Grogu" mug on a shelf of many that wasn't fulfilled due to "lack of availability". I was thankful we were able to get some of the items we wanted to get and I understand it's the holidays and it was very crowded in there when we went so it could have been difficult for them to fulfill the order. However, as a neurodivergent person I had a hard time going in there to try to salvage the trip as it was way too loud and there were a lot of people.

The store is fine, you can get a lot of neat stuff from there, and the staff are nice. I would just be wary using site to store - at least during...

I was at the Florence, AL store tonight (12/12/17 around 8:30 pm). It was my first time in Five Below. The first employee I encountered was quite insistent on helping me with t-shirts :) I'm really not used to that sort of customer service but he asked three times if I was sure he couldn't help me find a size. TBH I was taken aback at first but then I realized how much pride this young man takes in his work! I didn't catch his name but he was a young black gentleman with glasses. Later, he was very helpful when I asked him a question about a product. When I arrived at the register, I had another question about a wireless mic. He actually called a co-worker over to give me a demonstration of the product...which I did wind up buying. How do-worker was a female with short dark hair. Great selection of things to choose from for a very affordable price of only $5 or below! Great place to take your kid to pick out a toy. Walk in & tell your kid they can have 4 or anything in the store & watch their faces light up, and all of that for only $20 max. There are no other stores like it! There are also really fun & unique mini-science projects that you can do with your kids, and they can learn a lot from them too. They even have items for people of all ages i.e. workout equipment, cell phone cases, cell phone accessories. I enjoy shopping here as much as my daughter does.
