If it was possible to give a negative 10 I would. This was possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you are consigning items and are wondering why they are not selling. The answer is simple, the customer service. I arrived with two items, looking to possibly get an approximate value. I already know the items worth as they are already appraised items I like to check out local antiques and see if they are honest when it comes to their customers, buying or selling.
The overweight mid 50's man was sitting on an chair looking at a computer screen when I arrived. It appeared he was helping the only other two customers in the store. I said hello, and in return not even a glance up from the screen. I waited patiently for him to make some acknowledgment of my presence 5 min 10 min.. two more customers walked in and he acknowledged them, answered their questions. I said excuse me... he looked at me and said yes? I asked If he would mind looking at a couple items, he said RUDELY I dont think so, I have to many other customers to attend to.
Never will I spend a dime in this shop, nor will I recommend it to any of my collector friends. He may have seen my sad little 1970's RV and decided to pass pre judgment... that being said... driving a classic should say more not less...

It was 4:10pm when I said I'd be back as I was just running a block away to pick up someone. He said he'd be closed by the time I got back and I stated I was only going a block away and he said he was "technically" already closed, they closing time is 4:30. He then made the comment that I should have already left my friend behind a long time ago. This friend is someone who does alot of business with them and sells them alot of highly valuble things and he gets ripped off every single time on the prices they are willing to pay. I understand making money but to the point of paying pennies on the $20 bill is quite ridiculous. But that's neither here nor there, you don't speak to customers that way. Bad form indeed. Apparently, accidentally taking 2 parking spots is unacceptable. He cussed at my (Caucasian) husband when we asked that he didnāt talk to us the way he did when telling us about the parking issue.
He then proceeded to tell us I shouldnāt drive a truck this big, gmc Sierra, if I canāt park it.
Seeing others reviews regarding his political comments and the other post showing his support of Nazi propaganda, suspect it has to do with the fact that I am Hispanic and had been talking in Spanish with my mom in his store. Not that it matters, but we are both US citizens and have been in the states for over 25 years.
