I have always went to the Julia’s theatre, tonight we saw a movie and leaving we had a minor accident tonight ( 06/29/25), involving a parking space cylinder. We did not see it going forward trying to avoid backing out and hitting anybody. We went forward and accidentally pulled it out of the ground. This was toward closing I had my father come to hopefully get it out before they closed but it was taking longer than usual. At the ending of the Julia theatres shift tonight a couple of their staff, Eli, Jayden, Lorela, Gavin, and Peter all helped and assisted to get the parking space block out from under our vehicle. Working all together they successfully got it out. I don’t know who will read this, hopefully owners or someone in charge in upper management. These are very dedicated staff they deserve upmost PRAISE and any type of raise to their pay. If it weren’t for their help tonight we would’ve been in their parking lot all night trying to fix a disaster. Thank you Julia Theatre and your...
Read moreWow! I haven't been here in YEARS! One reason is that we dont go to the movies very often. But, to be honest, the Julia used to be a lower-end movie theater (and when you saw the inside, you knew why) That has certainly changed for the better! It's only $6 a person to see a movie before 8pm and $8 afterward. The snack/popcorn area is also impressive! My mom and I split a large popcorn and large drink for only $9. Do you know how much that would be at the other movie theater in town? About $20 or more! They even offer caramel corn, which is not even an option at the other place! That's amazing! There is plenty of space between the rows and comfortable chairs(see picture). The only downside is being a shorter person and possibly not being able to see over the person in front of you. If that's the only fownside these days, I will take it! I will certainly be back to see a movie...
Read moreThe staff is nice and it is fairly clean. HOWEVER I have NEVER had a good movie viewing experience here. This is where the loud, rude trashy and ghetto people of Florence go. People are literally talking the entire movie, having full on conversations with eachotjer, on their phones, taking pictures or snap chats. The staff doesn’t seem to try and stop this. It’s great that they are so cheap but that is why all the stupid loud people/teenagers go there and you can’t enjoy your movie. I know I sound like I’m exaggerating but I’m not. i pay money to actually be able to hear and enjoy my movie in peace. Grown ups know how to shut up for a few hours, be courteous and mindful of others. I don’t think people who go here know how to do that. Go to Swamp fox and If you have to see a movie here do it during the day and maybe you’ll...
