Creekside — Restaurant in Florence

If possible to rate no stars I would. This is a glorified bar at best. Got there at 5 pm on a Friday. 3 cars and a couple of bikes in the parking lot. Very strange for a Friday anywhere in Florence at 5. Found out why. After waiting several minutes to be greeted by a yell from across the restaurant- I mean bar. Was told to have a seat anywhere around near the bar. Three or four tables, all but one had dirty dishes; the one needed to be wiped down. We sat there. The barkeep walked over with a couple of menus and asked what we wanted to drink!! She didn’t clean the table!! It was filthy. Has she not heard about that little pandemic!! We promptly left. I wasn’t going to find out how lazy the chef might also be. No way I was going to waste money after all the warning signs. Some one put a lot of money renovating this place. Giving it 2 stars is generous....Kept driving by this place since it opened and finally after i picked up a rental car across the street my wife and i chose to go here.....place looks nice inside but at 6pm at the Hight of dinner time and it was a ghost town...probably 8 people max...

menu is lacking....same menu i see at every bar type place we go too, we ordered our Appetizer and it was Buffalo boneless tenders....they should remove tenders and call them Bites cause they were small as hell.

Time to order our meal....We both ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was more like the philly Grease steak because that's all i can taste.....Someone told my Wife at her job to not go here and i always say ill have to try it for myself and i got burned.......I heard the owner of the Swamp purchased this place so now i can see why...

Ordered fish and chips and fried pickles. Waitied around 40 minutes to get the food . Waitess says she forgot to put the pickles in. Asked if we still wanted them. We said no. The fish wasn't beer battered. We were asked what 2 sides we wanted. So all in all it wasn't fish and chips. Bar patrons were really loud and mind you this was noon on a Sunday. Table was dirty when we got there. Windows were dirty. Bottle of vinegar we asked for was really gross on the outside. Well the next day I was sick all day. We seated ourselves and waited 15 minutes before we were served. I worked in the food service industry for years and this wasn't lack of help, this was people not caring .
