Leaf Lounge — Local services in Florence

We decided to visit the leaf lounge again, we typically go every so often but the kitchen is rarely open when we’re there so we get drinks and he smoke cigars - which is exactly what this lounge is for. We try to go fairly early when it’s quiet and relaxing, we watch sports, listen to all types of music and get to talk, it’s a great vibe. I will say, it’s more so geared towards an older crowd, which I absolutely love! On this particular visit, the bartender was super nice and we got to try some food… all I have to say is I wish the kitchen was open ALL THE TIME. This food was AMAZING. We tried the shrimp tacos with fries, the shrimp was fresh and cooked and seasoned to perfection, the sauce it came with on the side added the perfect touch of spicy - we had waffle fries on the side and they were super fresh, right amount of crunch with like a garlic and herb seasoning that was perfect! I guess this cigar lounge is for the locals only. The waitress only checked on the known guest/ tables. My husband had to get up and ask for drinks. To her defense, she at least brought us the drinks and I guess she forgot we were there. She never came back. Yet, she had no issues attending the other tables right next to ours. She finally checked in on us, when one of us was done with the cigar and took over 20 minutes to bring us our check. Sad, as we traveled over an hour to come check this place out as all the reviews where 5 stars. :( The lounge itself is nice and quaint. The ventilation system could have been better as it finally turned on around 8:30pm. Our ashtray was never emptied and our glasses were never filled. The humidor had good selection of cigars. If you are expecting great service and attention, this is not the place. We will definitely be traveling to try out other cigar lounges but won’t be back here. We were coming home along 95 and saw a sign for a cigar shop outside Florence. So we stopped and were under whelmed. I was in the mood for a break and a good smoke, so we looked for another close by and found this one. I am so glad we stopped here! The food was very good and I found some shop blends in the humidor that were amazing. If you are near Florence, and you are looking for a bite to eat or a comfortable place to enjoy a sick, i have to recommend you stop here! Definitely...
