I've eaten there before and it was decent. It's been a lot of years since then though. Since they don't have a website and the link only goes to their FB page I decided to call to see if I could place an order for pickup since I really didn't feel like going anywhere and sitting down. So I called, guy said "hello?" . I asked if I could place an order for pickup and all I hear is him YELLING "something something PICKUP" and then slammed the phone down but didn't hang it up and could hear them talking and other noises in the background so I said "hello?" Many times for at least a minute before I hung up. I mean, they must be losing a good amount of money by not doing orders to go or for delivery... Pfft, I won't go back since there are plenty of other restaurants. I worked in restaurant fo many years and different kind of food and I know that Customer service says a lot about them and their business, as well as the quality of...
Read moreI saw lots of good reviews so I decided to get dinner at this place but I don’t know about this place - I’m here on a business trip. I got Jungle Curry with shrimp and Fresh Shrimp Rolls. They’re not bad but… Fresh Shrimp Rolls are almost $8 (for 2 pieces). And they’re not one of those big Fresh Rolls either. One had 2 halves of shrimp and the other didn’t have any - might as well call it Fresh Veggies Rolls! Jungle Curry tasted OK but very watery and only had 4 small shrimps and full of long uncut green beans and bamboo shoots. Very hard to eat. Where I come from - medium to large size city in the Southeast - if you pay $13 for shrimp curry you get curry full of shrimp. I almost gave this restaurant one start but the couple who run this restaurant were so nice I added a star. Also when I got there there was no one in the restaurant - I know it’s a weekday night but the restaurant/beer bar next...
Read moreWe just moved to the area and have been craving Thai, so we decided to try out the Thai House being that it’s the only Thai place around. We ordered our regular, Pad See Ew & Pad Wood Sen. We also got the Cheese Stars, and ordered another Pad Wood Sen to go. Service was great, but the food was very mediocre. The Pad See Ew didn’t have the authentic wide rice noodles that it typically comes with, and the Cheese Stars tasted like they were made that morning and heated up in the microwave. When we ordered another Pad Wood Sen to go, we ordered it with no vegetables because there was barely any noddles in our first one. It cost us $22 just for the togo (no protein btw) because “It was more noodles, and he didn’t know ahead of time so it was rushed so he added a rush fee..” Sir we didn’t say we wouldn’t wait for it? We will not be back, the price for very mediocre food was...
