9/15/2017 â Hello. I have to share my experience with Dr. Kulkarni. First, I need everyone who reads this to know I was recently abused at a dentistâs office in Sherman. I was held down against my will. Needless to say, I was scared beyond reason to see a dentist again. But then I met Dr. Kulkarni and coudnât believe it. I could feel her genuine compassion. I told her what happened to me and she was sincerely angry that anyone would hurt me. She was gentle and patient with me. Due to my past dental experience, I fearfully teared up a few times and she stopped to reassure me each time. When she was finished, I could not believe it. NO PAIN!!! None!!! I mean none whatsoever. I need a couple fillings and, although, I am scared, I trust Dr. Kulkarni. I will go to my next appointment. I really will and I will write an honest review of that appointment, as well. I will never go to another dentist for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Dr. Kulkarni! ~Lisa Whitt
9/29/2017 â Hello again. My second appointment with Dr. Kulkarni. Okay, so the best way to put this... When she finished filling my teeth, I hugged her. I really did, too. And she hugged me back. Who hugs their dentist? No one. No one hugs a dentist. We all know this. But Dr. Kulkarni transcends the normal see-you-as-little-as-possible dentist. She truly does. I have to add this; I am taking my son to see her Tuesday for a regular checkup and cleaning. I know she wonât scare him; she wonât hurt him; and sheâll treat him with the compassion and gentleness she showed me. I trust Dr. Kulkarni. I truly do. For those of you as scared of dentists as I was 2 months ago, please know Dr. Kulkarni will take care of you. She will not hurt you. She will not hurt your children. Just talk to her. Share your past experiences and honest feelings with her. I promise you, she wonât let you down. Thank you again and again, Dr....
Read moreDefinitely highly recommend Healthy Smiles. I hadnât been to the dentist in about 10 years d/t a prior negative experience. My husband first made an appointment for himself - mostly because he needed to get his teeth cleaned but also to test the waters for me. Once he told me about his positive experience, I called to schedule an appointment.
From the moment of the first phone call, I was flooded with positivity, kindness and just general happiness. Once my appointment was booked for X-rays and a teeth cleaning, I received reminders as text messages - which was helpful because I have a busy schedule. Once I arrived for my appointment I was greeted with smiles and laughter - which really helped put me at ease. From that point on everyone was just so nice that my stress and anxiety surrounding going to the dentist began to ease up more and more.
I loved that before anyone did anything that explained what they were going to do. My teeth cleaning was almost painless and when I expressed even the slightest discomfort they were quick to act and made sure I was comfortable moving forward. They also consistently asked me how I was doing and checked to make sure I was okay throughout the entire process. On at least 3-4 different occasions, they asked if I had any questions for them - which I felt was also reassuring because it let me know that they wanted to make sure I knew what they were talking about/what was going on.
Next, we discussed the plan moving forward, they answered any/all questions that I had and we scheduled the next appointment. The whole process was just so lovely and positive that I can honestly say Iâll look forward to my next...
Read moreThis place makes ME smile! Itâs my favorite dentist in all of Flower Mound, Dr Sangeeta and a wonderful hygienist with a kind heart and gentle hands.
When I arrived I was greeted by the other dentist who works here (help! Bad with names!) but she introduced herself and shook my hand and was both welcoming and personable. Thatâs exactly how any doctorâs office should be - but often arenât. If Dr Sangeeta canât see me for some reason I know sheâll be happy to take care of me.
The magic of Dr Sangeeta, though, is that sheâs gotten me through bad dental work on January 14, 2021. I havenât been able to bite down on the left side of my mouth (not even the softest food) until March 13, 2024 when she finished the work she began at a previous place. She even kept me longer than weâd planned. When the Novocain wore off I thought I was dreaming.
Being in such terrible pain for that long is emotionally exhausting but I trust her to see my future dental work through.
This is a small practice and it gave me the impression that theyâre close and work as a team. I felt relaxed and comfortable and its somewhere Iâd bring my family and recommend to anyone looking for a non-corporate atmosphere.
I always update reviews if...
