I recently witnessed one of the most hilarious and embarrassing moments at Kroger, courtesy of my brother, Mitch. I have to give a huge shoutout to the fantastic staff, especially Amy in the floral department. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Mitch lost a bet and had to dress up as Donald Duck to buy balloons at Kroger. His outfit was nothing short of absurd: bright yellow tights, a big fluffy tail, an oversized blue sailor shirt with a giant red bow tie, and huge, awkward yellow feet. The moment he walked into the store, it was a spectacle that no one could ignore.
Amy was incredible. Despite the ridiculous situation, she remained professional and helpful. However, it was clear that she, along with the rest of the staff, found the whole thing hilarious. The chuckles and wide-eyed looks from everyone were priceless. They couldn’t believe how ridiculous Mitch looked, especially with those bright yellow tights and his fluffy tail bouncing with every step.
As Mitch waddled through the store holding the balloons, he drew laughter and amused stares from everyone around. Waiting in line was particularly humiliating, with customers and staff giggling and taking photos. The staff couldn’t stop laughing and kept commenting on how they had never seen anything like it.
A special thanks to Amy and the Kroger staff for making an incredibly embarrassing situation a bit more bearable with their good humor and professionalism.
If anyone at Kroger ever wants another laugh, just let us know, and we can arrange for Mitch to come back for another round of public Embarrassment. Thanks again, Kroger, for turning a lost bet into a fun and...
Read moreReally bad experience today on 7-18-23 an older employee with the name Rick harassed me and my young child at self checkout. Accused me of stealing, threw my bread out of the buggy and squished it onto the scanner. All that and it had indeed been scanned. I thought he was coming over to ask me if I needed help scanning the large items under the basket but he was not. Please keep in mind this older gentleman was being nice to everyone else and only treated me and my daughter and another gentleman that way that was checking out next to us.. He was prejudice and very aggressive. Moved me out of his way to touch the scanner area and was checking every item. The manager came and indeed saw that I had paid for every item in my buggie.. she didn't seem to care much when I mentioned what had happened but was sweet and said she would "talk to him about it" people like that should not be in customer service. He even touched my buggie with my child in it and moved it out of the way. Had no regards to my space or my child's. It's really sad...... I no longer will be shopping at this location and I will be reporting this store today to corporate. My husband called the store to discuss with manager and the manager said "it wasn't in ricks character to accuse someone of stealing" which is ridiculous. They told my husband there is not audio to go back and look back on cameras to see what happened. Just video. I'm sure if you pick the footage of even just the video you would see the harassment that took place. Something else to get brushed under the rug. Will...
Read moreIf I could rate this location zero stars, I would. The produce is sickening (see the flys that cover the rotten red onion?!) and the organization of the store is laughable. Employees have generally been pleasant and I don't like to criticize a location that has good people trying to make a living, so I can only attribute the horrors of this location to the management. Milk and cheese is spread out among 3 different locations within the store making it very difficult to shop. If you might be interested in an organic product, you can not simply go to the isle that contains your category of interest ; instead you have to shop within the specific organic section that contains everything organic from pasta sauce to crackers which is frustrating and inconvenient to the point that I end up with fewer organic products that I might purchase otherwise. I hate this store. There is flour under the sign that says sugar, and sugar under the sign that says flour. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SWITCH THE SIGNS! The fresh ground peanut butter machine is often out of service or poorly stocked with containers or the machine is out of service. There are very few cashiers on staff at all times and the self check out is not reliable. Avoid this Kroger. See...
