In 1995 I worked at this location with the R.O.P. . It truly is the worst store. Not greated with any sense of happiness. Like mundane and looked unhappy to see me. I even made a joke .. no laughing. The security guard had cute braids.. but it more like a chore to say " welcome 2 ross" I'd think you would want to have great service. Subpar wouldn't be my goal. Last night I went in with a few receipts and a lot of items I just bought. I wanted to exchange it all. I didn't care about getting money back. I have so many things that just didn't fit. My daughter or myself. I tried exchanging them. U know instead of a customer I felt like a thief. I had receipts showing over 500 on a single transaction. I have the same card I've been using. The girls at the fontana store love to sit around and talk about others. Especially with supervisors as well. I had an attack dog come up and become snarky, rude, unpleasant, condescending and devalued as a customer and human. Look I know ppl have stolen. I'm sorry. But like I told them the other day I don't steal... I said I could pull up my checking account that has 2k u can see exactly how much money I've wasted no. The person who came up to assist was a supervisor dressed like less than the staff. They were more professional... except everyone working in ur store last night was rude. Except the girl who spent the time to do her beautiful brows. She was a really nice young lady. But passed me to the biggest winch possible. I have more to return. I just want even exchange. I can pull everything up on my phone.. over 1500 in shopping. I will never shop in Ross of fontana on slover... but I might go in and look around. But I don't know that we'd spend any money here again. But I might fill a few baskets.. u never know. Just because I don't look like ur average customer I guess u could assume that. But ur wrong.. will start tagging the store. Please understand I've been a supervisor for the largest tax corporation... 4 or 5 yrs doing that. Taught classes on customer service. Something a few locations could find helpful. I shouldn't have to listen to associates cursing with each other and on the clock. Do u over work these ppl that they can't fit in their own social time or clock out?? I feel so bad for Ross. Ur not losing for theft. There was only two lanes open we took the shortest lane had two women in front of us. Flying start getting longer behind dust we waited for a while for some reason was taking an enormous amount of time to the items the two people had in front of us. When I went, they were taking both appointments and walk-ins. The initial check-in didn't take too long, but once I got to the line, every social distancing dot was full. They took in a few people at a time so the line moved in spurts. It took about 30 minutes before I was called in to sit in the waiting chairs, then another few minutes to be called to a station to get my vaccination. I believe it was 45 minutes all together.
