I want to give this Target 5 stars because it's big and pretty (well, not so much right now because it is under construction, but typically it's a really nice space!). However, I consistently have awkward and bad service experiences here! I normally love Targets' service so I waited it out before reviewing incase it was my bad luck, but it happens so often that it is now making me prefer to shop elsewhere despite my love for Target.
Examples: As I babywear my sleeping 3 month old and try to prevent my 21 month old from a meltdown the cashier, a 20 year old able man, asks me to lift my LaCroix pack back into the cart from the conveyer belt myself because he is sore.
My 21 month old swallows a Cheerio wrong while waiting in line and gets scared that she is choking. Proceeds to cry. Cashier says over and over "Gosh, it can't be THAT bad. Wow. Gah....she's an ornry child huh?"
Trying to switch my diaper bag to a bigger cart so both children can sit my wallet falls out the old cart. Go to pay and realize it. Go looking for it, ask lost and found and nothing is there. Manager says to call back later instead of helping me look. In the meantime, cafe employees said they had found it and have it! I was so happy, but then they got scolded in front of me for not returning it to lost and found right away.
Anxious toddlers in tow, associate tries to tell me all the detailed plans of the renovation and follows me as I walk away to show me the pictures of the plans in a book as my baby cries.
Long line again with anxious kids, they open another line and call the man that just walked up behind me over to be rung up. In the meantime 3 other carts jump behind him. Again, waiting and waiting.
Here is today's example: I was trying to check-out my usual $300 cartfull of random stuff with 2 small children in tow. My 1 year old refuses to sit or be held while I unload my items after a good wait. I let him down to try to get a candy bar out of the box. Cashier freaks out "no baby! Careful!" It continued to make her very nervous so I asked if someone could at least help me unload my cart. I even said this is why I usually buy groceries at King Soopers now. But seriously, they know how to help a mama out over there!
In conclusion, nice space but don't expect help or special service with kids in tow that you can...
Read moreEven tho I love Target's variety seletions and great deals I have very unsatisfied experience here at this one. When I received wrong items from online order I went in with my order receipt and the wrong products that they sent. I needed them right away and they were baby formula so I explained what happened and asked the lady at the customer service center if I can exchange but she wouldn't let me exchange and I wad told I can only return so I got a balance on a target gift card but it was about $12 less than what I paid online cause of the promotion that I had (which was use over $100 and get a $25 gift card). 'Now I have to pay 12 dollars more for what I ordered online cause your crew sent wrong items to me?' I didn't think it was right. I went back to the same lady , I politely told her I didn't change my mind on the products that I purchased, I don't want to return anything I just want the products that I paid online and you guys sent wrong items and you made me return. How do I supposed to pay more money cause of your crew's mistakes? If I had right products in my arms now I didn't have to drive all the way to the store but I did and now you're making me pay more? Nice try... But she was insisting I can't exchange eventho she understands the situation. How is she understanding??? Is she understanding right? So I talked to a manager and she let me exchange to get the right items that I PAID online. Neither it was mistakes or on purpose if you sent wrong items you cannot make the customers pay more to get the right stuffs unless they've changed their mind when they got a right packet. If you do It's a new scam! It's just so awful policy and it was horrible experience. I won't order online for a while and don't appreciate how they handled...
Read moreThis is my neighborhood target, and i've been going here since I was really little. Today I was at target buying things for a new apartment, so I had a lot of items, and my cashier was a very kind young man with brown hair and had a disabled arm. I didn't see this when I asked him to wrap my lots of dishes, but he kindly tried to wrap them anyway and overall had amazing service. When i was checking out, a man near me said he was selling some furniture on facebook marketplace. I got distracted, totally my fault, and started to chat with the guy for max 30 secs, holding up the line a bit. when i was walking away, i heard another cashier, presumably a manager, snapping at the young man who helped me, telling him he wasn't scanning fast enough, and that he was doing non-compliance and to turn his light off, and I think she said she would write him up. Keep in mind there were three or four people behind the guy I was talking to so she basically shut down the whole line. The young man looked really sad, and the whole thing was heartbreaking to watch honestly. The hold up was completely my fault, not his. The manager who snapped at him was a young woman, had long light brown hair, smaller build, and dark eyeliner. I really hope somebody talks to her about being kinder to the workers because it was very...
