When I walked in the store not one employee greeted let alone acknowledged my presence, there were 2 associates behind the counter and 1 on the floor helping another customer. I had to wander through the store to search out someone to help me, I could not find any other employees other than the 3 I already mentioned, I decided to approach the counter, one associate was talking and laughing with what appeared to be another associate just getting off work and he couldn't be bothered to take even a moment to acknowledge me, the other associate at the counter glanced up at me and immediately turned and started to walk away as I opened my mouth to speak to her, she never said a word to me either, so I waited for the 3rd associate to finish with the other customer, at this point it should have been fairly obvious I needed help as I was wandering aimlessly through the store and eventually started following the associate on the floor around trying to get her attention, she finally stopped to do something other than assist me but I was able to approach her, I asked her if she could help me, she did respond politely and with a smile but she seemed to be in a big hurry to get it over with, she rushed through everything and it made me feel like I was a bother and was wasting her time. I came into the store looking for recommendations on a long wear foundation and a good mascara......so nothing difficult or time consuming, I am not a difficult or high maintenance customer and I'd like to think I am a pretty polite and respectful person, so I really don't understand why I got treated the way that I did or why such a simple inquiry/need was so difficult to get help with. I normally shop for my cosmetics at Ulta Beauty and this was my first time ever in a Sephora store, I gotta say this was a pretty awful first impression for me. I don't know if I will go back to Sephora anytime soon and it certainly won't be my first, second or even third recommendation to friends or family. Needless to say I was far from impressed with my Sephora experience and am genuinely offended by the treatment I received....or the...
Read moreI've shopped at this Sephora three times now. Each time the service has gotten worse. The employees are very reluctant to help you and they do not approach you when you enter the store, instead you have to track them down. If you can manage to get their attention they do the bare minimum to assist you. The first two times I shopped there they had a decent amount of customers in the store, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed they were just feeling rushed. But when I went there yesterday there was five customers (including myself and my younger sister) and at least five employees, and they STILL couldn't be bothered. My sister wanted help finding a new foundation for summer. The first woman we asked pointed to the tester station and said, "You can try them over there." then walked off. The next woman we asked told her to try some BB and CC creams, then walked away. One employee actually color matched her but then told her to go try some on with a sponge and went to talk to employee #1.
I have never had such terrible service at Sephora. Combine that with their smaller selection and this is a location I will never shop at again. I would strongly suggest going to any other Sephora. When you are spending this much money on makeup and skin care you should at least know it's being sold to you by someone knowledgeable who cares to help you find the...
Read moreThe most exceptional associate works here and her name is Kim. I walked in as they were closing their night with the intent to get two things. I ended up buying over $200 worth of items and let’s say it was because of Kim. She saw me just browsing the brushes and pointed me to the most fabulous bundle deal Sephora was having .. that I ended up buying two sets.. I didn’t even need two nor was I even there for brushes?! Regardless , I found myself happy to be buying two new sets of brushes because of her. I went in for a specific moisturizer and again she pointed me in the right direction. She was knowledgeable on every single product in this store. I let her know I had very sensitive skin and was skeptical on certain products she than taught me about an impressive new product : The Milk Serum by Josie Maran ($56)- for those with sensitive skin. And lastly I needed a foundation and while I love the Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation she also encouraged me to try something new that I absolutely love!! If you’re looking for products, or you’re not too sure what you want or need, make sure to ask for Kim(with the red hair)! She leads with integrity and encompasses this wonderful aura .. it makes you feel like you’re shopping with a friend . Thank you Kim! The Sephora family is lucky...
