Great little place to visit for big flavor. The place was not busy, 3 parties including ours of 2 people, we were seated right away and provided with ice water and menus. The restaurant itself was clean and quiet. Our server was very friendly and made a couple of menu recommendations. Oir food did take a while to come out even though it wasn't busy. We ordered the Thai Tea with traditional boba and a frozen pineapple drink, also with traditional boba. The Thai tea was a little on the sweet side for my taste but soem people like it really sweet. We ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer, they were great! Very fresh and crisp veggies. The peanut sauce was a little too spicy for me but still delicious. If it didn't have a kick I could probably dunk a show in it and it would taste good! Peanut sauce is not usually spicy so that was different for me but it was still yummy. For entrees we had the egg drop soup, yellow curry, and fried rice. The egg drop soup of all things was the best egg drop soup I've had in years. I can tell you it was back home in CA, in a little shop in downtown Alhambra (also where I've had the best duck in the US to date), but this was GOOD! It was probably the highlight of this meal for me. The yellow curry was good, fresh veggies and just the right amount of spice. The fried rice was good, not dry like most tend to be, veggies were still crisp and fresh, but it was waaaaay too spicy for me. I asked for mild and I couldn't take more than one bite so I took it home to my husband since he loves all things hot enough to melt your insides 😊. I drank one whole Thai tea just from one spoonful and had to order another. So, if you like it hot, get some spicy fried rice. My lips were burning and my tongue was on FIRE. All in all, I recommend it, very fresh food, clean...

Just a quick update : If you are gluten free might want to be wary. I ended up being sick sunday and monday from gluten poisoning from the restaurant.

This rsstaurant is located near the council tree library. Parking up front of the location could possibly prove challenging. We opted to park over in the council tree library.

The location was clean. We sat ourselves upon arriving. we had a group of 6.

It took awhile for someone to come over and take our drink order. But it was okay, we were happily chatting. A variety of drinks were ordered at the table between water, sake, and a variety of boba. The drinks were good and definitely good sizes.

They eventually came by to get our food order. Everyone really enjoyed their food. You can choose your spice level between 1-5. I had a vegetable stir fry gluten free. Everyone highly enjoyed their food.

They have a lot of gluten free and vegetarian options. Gluten free and vegetarian/vegan are all clearly labeled on the menu.

Restaurant was clean. But service was only so-so. They did not split our tab for us. We had to figure it out. Also they did not come by to check on us, or fill our water or see if we needed...

UPDATE: The owner was extremely nice and made sure we were taken care of she even gave us a complimentary meal and I believe the waitress that served us was just having a bad day. Don't we all. I appreciate the thought and effort they put in to making this right. Because I love Bann Thai again! I

m extremely disappointed with the service I just received. I have come here countless times and the food is pretty good but the server put peanuts on my order. I'm allergic to peanuts and told her I can't eat them at all and she simply said she didn't mark it wrong and I didn't tell her no peanuts which is wrong. It's not like I forgot I'm allergic and since it wasn't a life threatening allergy clearly she didn't care. She didn't even offer to make it right even though I said I couldn't eat it. She just said okay so do you need a box. So I went out to lunch and paid for food I wasn't able to eat. Screw that service. I am so disappointed and wish they would have made it right instead of being rude saying I should have told her. It's a bummer because I really liked coming here but unless they make it right I will NEVER come back and I will be sure to let people know about...

June 2024 Solo lunch after doc appointment. A tad expensive for lunch but simply scrumptious. Wonderful mild panang chicken curry with beautiful fresh vegetables and perfect brown rice. Taking most of the rice home in a lovely plastic reusable container. Could wish for thicker sauce but frankly taste trumps texture here. January 2024 Gorgeous presentation ☺️. Husband chose panang with chicken and white rice, medium, and I got chicken panang with brown rice, mild. Very good although I like a slightly thicker sauce. Jazz in the background. For a Monday night it was populated. Service was great. We will come back for lunch soon. A little pricey but I had leftovers.

In town for the holidays and the folks wanted to try a new Thai restaurant. We ordered online to-go and the food was ready very quickly. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken, and opted for super hot spice level. While Bann let’s you pick your protein, if I had gone with beef, the dish would have cost an additional $3. The dish was very tasty and probably a touch more food than I needed, though I almost found myself licking the plate. Spice level was Ok, though I would have preferred more heat for ‘super hot’.
