My fiancé and I had the promotional bowls on their grand opening and they messed up our very simple order. We didn’t like how there were constant bits of char on our noodles from the teriyaki chicken. The food looked nothing like any of the images. Broccoli was the only vegetable in the bowl and they were tiny bits rather than large florets. The noodles were dry, thin, and looked nothing like Asian noodles. We were told they had yakisoba noodles which are the thick noodles but they didn’t. All they had were thin noodles like spaghetti noodles. The noodles were also bland, sticky, dry, and a bit discolored. The chicken also was in small cut up pieces unlike the image that shows strips. When we received our food it was made wrong and looked like it was shaken or stirred up. None of the meat and veggies were on top for presentation like you could get when you dine in. Very dissatisfied with the presentation and how the food looked and tasted. The goyza was about the only decent thing we had and the crab Rangoon was overly filled with cream cheese and TINY. The price for that is not worth what you get. The appetizers are served in open bags rather than containers which do not help keep them fresh at all. After getting free meal tickets from their mess up, we decided to try it one more time with the orange chicken and that did not redeem them one bit. My fiancé got the spicy one and I got the regular one. The spicy one was awfully spicy and the regular one had little to no flavor with some questionable chewy bits. The noodles this time were orangish yellow discolored possibly from the chicken and again the noodles were dry, sticky, and bland like before but with a color problem. The rice was about the same. What you get here is about the equivalency of going to Walmart for a ready made pack of Chinese food. The food is a joke and you will be better off going to Ninja or Hy-Vee. The staff just stand around doing nothing and make people wait long times for their food. The wait time is ridiculous especially for something small. Not worth it. The food doesn’t settle well. I guess there is a reason why they call it Teriyaki Madness because what goes on here makes you go mad and your stomach won’t really...
Read moreWOW! I arrived at 11:05 opening day (opened at 11:00) and the line was 10 people deep outside waiting to get inside the door. With the two inside ordering register lines full already from the registers to the outside door. The lines moved quite fast to order and although they were probably really backed up cooking the food in the back...the wait for the food accually wasn't all that long. I ordered the regular spicy tofu with noodles and vegetables, and the drink/eggroll combo to eat there. Plus a regular chicken teriyaki with brown rice and vegetables, to take home. I am a big eater and my tofu meal filled me up very nicely. The tofu was crisp outside and soft inside with a delicious and not too spicy taste. I will try the "Mad Spicy Tofu" the next time for a little more bite. The eggroll had a really great taste and came with a gyoza sauce. The sauce has an unique but desirable taste. Cheers! The noodles were just slightly sweet tasting and the veggies nicely steamed but 1/2 way through I did put some of the teriyaki sauce from the table on them. I take my hat off to the manager and the personel of this store. Brand new, first day, from everything I observed, they have put together a great team and really NO...
Read moreWanted to try this as we're huge fans of Panda Express and Hy-Vee Chinese. Got there, looked over the menu and ordered 2 bowl combos, filled out drinks and stepped to the side. 35 minutes went by until they called our order. She pulled it off the online order shelf so I have no idea how long it'd been sitting there. Numerous people had gotten orders, other tables had gotten 1 order with the other people still waiting. Checked the food for warmth before I walked out. It was somewhat warm so I just left because I was frustrated. Take the bowls out once I got to the car and everything was covered in a sticky sauce and black charred crumbs. Assuming the person dishing up orders hadn't changed their gloves recently. Went back in to ask for new bowls and 2 other people we're also having issues so I just left and said never again. Once we got to the food, my salmon was dry as cardboard, veggies were bland, egg rolls were flavorless with a very odd texture and not crispy whatsoever, and my wife's rice was a soggy gooey clump of wet fried rice. I'm willing to give places another chance but this place is a disaster. Worst dining experience I've had in...
