Today I visted the Ft. Gratiot store for the 1st time I went in looking for shoes for a formal dinner. I didn't find shoes but i found this beautiful navy blue Anne Cline bag hanging in the clearence section that I really wanted so I took it off the hook and noticed the tag didn't have a clearence sticker on it so I ask the Fitting Rm. Assc. if she could scan it and check the price for me I explained to her that I had gotten it out of the Clearence section, she looks at the tag and says this is the price, Ah Da! So I said okay let me take it to a register to have them scan it for me, because I really wanted the handbag. I just want to know the price for sure before I make a finale descision. I know that sometimes shopper put things in the wrong place, but I also know that sometimes items are marked down and no tag is put on them they just show the mark down at the register. I see the register line is a lil long and I notice two assc. talking at the counter and I ask the gentleman if he could get someone to scan the handbag for me so he calls for someone to help me. I walk back towards were the handbags were and another assc. ask if she could help me and agian I explain about the hand bag and ask he if she could please scan it for me. She looks at the price tag and said oh this is the price someone must of put it in the wrong place :( Really I never said I did not see that big price tag niether did I try to negociate a lower price because I had gotten it from the Clearence section! So I said to her I just asked you to scan it for me! You are the 3rd person that I have come in contact with for just a price check! Then she says oh okay I can scan it for you if you want me too! I told her never mind evidently you guys don't want my money! I'm really frustrated and dissapointed in the staff at this location. What happened to Customer Service or Understanding the...
Read moreThis is a fantastic place to shop, and if I’m in the area, I always stop here. It’s clean, organized, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The only problem I have with this place is how forceful they come across when trying to get people to sign up for their credit card. I understand they get certain incentives, but I feel that if I say “no” once, it means no. Today, I said no seven separate times, and they still tried to pressure me to sign up even after my transaction (I unfortunately didn’t get the name of the employee). Truthfully, it makes me not want to come back because of how uncomfortable the experience made me feel. Like I said, I understand it’s their job and they get incentives, but if I don’t want the card, I don’t want it. No need to pressure me multiple times throughout and after my transaction; no...
Read moreWell; what can I say! This is one of my favorite stores to shop in, especially when whenever I feel the need to buy something really, really special a special occasion like someone’s birthday or wedding day, here’s where you will find a nice bargain at a good price, that’s not so expensive but worth it, because their prices are lower than the regular price, making it less expensive than what it would normally cost you anywhere else. That’s why it’s my favorite place to shop. T.J. Max has all kinds of different types of products, and even for children the goods come with special price and even gifts are added to what you can buy as brand name products. Go see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed,...
