Yesterday I received an email letting me know that the Xbox series X would be released at GameStop in Fort Gratiot (Date:12/23/21). The lady I spoke with yesterday also informed me they opened at 8 AM so be there as soon as possible because that would likely my chances of finding one. Showed up to the store at 8:05 AM. All the lights were off I seen a gentleman with red hair looking surprisingly lost as he stared at a wall. I asked âsir are you guys opening at 8 AM this morning? âHe throws up his arms like he has better things to do and like Iâm out of line for asking why thereâs so much confusion. This red haired gentleman if you could call him that, said âI have no idea sounds like itâs your problem, Iâm not opening until 10. â. As he angrily speaks there was muffled mask being the only one in the store. My problem is that this isnât the only time these people have totally been disrespectful, confused, not properly trained, etc. itâs not like I drove 25 minutes just because I wanted to be told they werenât open and I had to come back into hours. If I wouldâve been a guy with some Japanese or Chinese writing on my shirt with a PokĂ©mon card I feel like I wouldâve been given a secret handshake or may be blowing a kiss and told sorry. My kind is definitely not excepted there obviously. His mannerism wouldâve been beyond rude if he was just another customer talking to another customer. Being the guy that represents the store I think he fell a bit sheltered by the glass that separated us and that allowed him to talk to me in the way that he did. So hopefully this gets resolved when I get back there at 10 AM this morning and I can actually speak to someone with common sense and knows how to speak to adults. Or maybe I have to wear that PokĂ©mon shirt.
Another great example of how the store is ran two weeks ago I had one of the employees tell me itâs so hard to get them because they tell their friends first and scalp them on websites like StockX for extremely...

I recently bought a toy for my brother here. As soon as I saw it I knew he would love it and that I had to get it for him. It had no price tag on it. I took it up to the counter and they proceeded to ring it up. $58 in total for a cheaply made piece of plastic.. I knew my brother wanted it though so I went along.
A few days later I found the same toy at Walmart for $35 instead. So naturally I took the unopened & untouched toy (along with the receipt) back to the store. I was asked for an ID for some reason. It was taking a while and the cashier said we had to wait for some lady to get out of the bathroom first (I assume the manager or shift lead for the night?). After a while she came out, walked behind the desk, and started typing away at a computer. She didn't greet us or acknowledge us either so I'm not sure why we had to wait for her. Anyway, after waiting a while (in dead silence mind you) he proceeds to tell us that it's not available to get a refund. Even though it was unopened, untouched, in the bag still, AND I had the receipt. This was within 2 days as well.
I will never step foot in this store again, nor will my family. And I'll be sure to spread the word. Don't waste your time, nor...
Read moreI sold a PlayStation 5 (digital) to this establishment and felt very nearly respected initially. Once the clerk began the process of taking in my device, the process was very quick and painless. It was awesome that she had a gaming podcast playing, just like home. I got dang near exactly what I assumed or estimated I'd receive for it in cash and the teller was very respectful and kind. I feel I was treated very fairly, taking I to consideration the sorry state my PS5 was actually in. I typically buy digital games so if I was looking for chotchkies or items of fandom subjectively appealing, this might be the only place in town. Pleasure...
