This store is really great for our area of Port Huron. We have Kroger, a farmer's market, Meijer, Walmart etc, but this store is pretty competitive with prices. They have vendors that they get their stuff from, so the products are always changing, and are somewhat unique in comparison. The few bad things about this store though are that if you find a product that you like, it may be a seasonal item, or may be from a temporary vendor, so you'd have to buy more than you need at the time, or just hope that it will return in the future. The other bad thing is that they have a lot of registers, but usually only one poor employee trying to run that register, and meanwhile having to also take care of stocking the store. I always want to help them because I feel bad. And sometimes you have to wait in an extremely long line to check out because of this. All in all I would definitely recommend this store to anyone wanting a change in their shopping habits, and especially what foods you can find. Who knows, it may just become one of your new...
Read moreThis grocery store is, hands down, THE BEST store I've ever shopped at in my entire life. Not only are the prices extremely low, the huge variety of EVERYTHING is quite impressive. They don't sell strictly generic branded food items, either, they do have name brand items in almost every department. Since 'discovering' Aldi, I simply refuse to shop anywhere else. The food is ALWAYS good, prices are ALWAYS astronomically low, employees & manager(s) are incredibly friendly, helpful & efficient...I simply have zero cons for this particular store. *They also sell HUNDREDS of seasonal items, not only food. Deals on patio sets, grills, etc; summer items. Now that fall is almost here, the fall/winter items are being set out; even at the full price, these items are MUCH less expensive than ANY other stores I've seen said items in. I HIGHLY recommend Aldi to anyone & everyone I discuss shopping with. This store truly cannot be beat by ANY other...
Read moreFirst a little story of my first experience at Aldi.... After my girlfriend and I just met, she asked if we had an Aldi near by, I said yes. She said we had to go there, now we're shoping and the cart is pretty full. Now when shopping the big supermarkets like Wal-mart and Meijers you can surely top out at $150-$200 easily with a full shopping cart. I told her we only had $150 to spend and she kept reassuring me to relax, it will be ok. The final cost...$88! While you can definately save a lot of money at Aldi. Be open at trying Aldi brands compared to national brands, you'll be amazed. But there are some national brands that just...
