I bought an all in one washer/dryer from Home Depot in ft. Gratiot, mi. I was told that I couldn’t pick up the appliance, that it had to be delivered which I had to pay for. I gave delivery instructions that were completely ignored. They sent two kids that had no knowledge about driving a straight truck or the size of their truck. So they pulled into a driveway that I told them not to use. It had a power line stringing across the driveway that they proceeded to tear down. They hurriedly unpacked my appliance and installed it and was gone. They were supposed to take the packaging with them but left it in my front yard. I then found the power line tore down. I called customer service and made a claim and someone would call me in 48-72 hours. I’m still waiting for that call. Looks like I will be having to pay for the repairs myself. I will never step foot into a Home Depot ever again. I should have stuck to Lowe’s.

PLEASE CLICK ABOVE WHERE IT SAYS MORE PHOTOS TO SEE ALL THE PHOTOS FROM THIS REVIEW... this is my brand new door by anderson from fort gratiot home depot. really home depot is just the middle man between anderson and the contractors who put the door in. after 2 defective door panels , 2 seperate contractors , 4 trips to my home ,and a total of 5 mos cof caulking nightmares from start to finish and a discount because i did not want to wait 6 more weeks on a 3rd door panel because the first two were defective i settled for the 1st defective panel which was better than the replacement. I will say dodie the (door dept manager) was very friendly and did all she could to make up for anderson doors and the contractors lacking. Theres about 8 more photos that will not post. sorry i wish you could see them all.

Do not go with this company. I recently spent thousands of dollars with them on remodeling the kitchen for a surprise when my SO got back from her trip. I had been saving up for awhile and they screwed us every step of the way. (details below) we went with a 10 piece cabinet deal that they had advertised and they did not even have a complete 10 piece set. then they said after we completed the set through the online store and other local stores that because we did not get the set at the same time we still would not get the credit/discount advertised. 3 of the cabinet's were broken, we returned them and they put them right back on the shelf next time we were there for the next poor customer to get taken advantage of. They only had replacement for 2 and said they hadn't got an order for more since January and basically told me im screwed. Half the workers said they were scared of heights and had to get someone to get the stuff down and never came back. The fridge we ordered was so low to the ground the first time i swung it open it made my foot bleed. (took a pic too) Funny thing about online items. you would think you would have time to return them cause you can not actually inspect them. nope! you have 48 hours to report a broken item or its all non-refundable. i tried to return it 5 days after delivery, i want a bigger better fridge and they don't even want to take my money to do that exchange? this is my 3rd project financed and completely provided by home depot and it was there final chance, i will leave a more detailed description on the Better Business Bureau of American website. And yes i called many people "in house" to give them plenty of chances and this poor young girl that was working from home who had no idea what was going on was one of the last people i talked to. so your company should be ashamed by using confusion and misdirection on people just trying to make a living in these trying...

An order and purchase of flooring was completed six weeks ago. There were multiple delays in receiving the product at home. However, we were required to make payments on our Home Depot card. The product was delivered to our garage. There were instructions to bring into the house, which I did. There were 30 pieces. All furniture was broken down and moved to other rooms in the house and our front porch. The day arrived when the installers arrived as scheduled. After about 15 minutes, the installer told me he did not know how to install this type of flooring. And there was not anyone available to install the arrival day. A follow-up call with Home Depot indicated that the flooring would be installed five weeks later; meanwhile, the house is in disrepair because all of the furniture moved out of the dining room and living room. A call to the general manager, Steve, was unsuccessful in securing a new installation date. Steve was then instructed to come to pick up the product, which he did. I was very stern and disappointed with Steve. There was no apology or discussion on being made whole. Think twice before engaging with Home Depot Flooring. They sell the product; however, their subcontractors are not trained in...

Can I give them no stars? I called and asked if they match Menards 11% rebate, and was told that they do. When I purchased an oven, I asked about the rebate again, and they confirmed they honor the Menards 11% rebate. AFTER I paid and set up a delivery date, I was told my purchase didn't qualify because it was a "special order" because they didn't have it in stock at the store. NONE of their major appliances are in stock. They all have to be ordered.

I should have canceled my purchase, but went ahead with the transaction. The oven was on sale, so I was still getting a good deal. The day before the oven was supposed to be delivered I received a confirmation email stating that the oven would be delivered between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.. The day of delivery, I checked the delivery status, and found that they had moved the delivery date without notifying me. I called and got multiple excuses and no offer to make things right. I cancelled my order. This oven wasn't cheap, and they seemed completely unconcerned about losing my business.

I called Lowe's and purchased the same oven. Lowe's even matched Home Depot's price. They had the oven in stock and I could pick it up immediately or have...
