My family and I went to the restaurant a few weeks ago, our experience is usually great but this time it was terrible! I put my name on the waitlist and received a call saying my table was ready but in fact the confused me with someone else, then i was removed from the list. I called and they said it would be another 10 min. My brother in law went in to see what was going on and they sat him right down so we went in. Our waitress came and seemed a bit off, we ordered a sushi roll and drinks, she messed everyone’s drink order up and had to come back with the correct ones. When she took our orders she could barely stand and almost fell on the hot grill. We asked where our sushi roll was and she replied that she can’t control how long it takes the cooks to make it but it’s coming. When she brought our soups out she spilled them all over herself and had her fingers in the bowls as she handed them out. The chef was great! He did an awesome job and everything came out good. We couldn’t get refills on our drinks, we watched our waitress take a break and cling on to the wall to hold herself up. There was 2 other people that were sat in our group and we figured there would be some major mix ups in our bill. After we had already explained how we wanted them separated which was pretty simple she came back with one check dancing around asking who wants it? Who wants it? And what do you know, all in one check. She came back over again so we could explain it yet again and she was gone for a good 10 min figuring it out. It was still all wrong. Finally a manager came over to help. The waitress fell into her, and after our bill was paid my husband asked if she was ok, the manager excused said oh yeah she’s fine it’s been a busy night. Still never got the sushi roll but at least it never made it to my bill. I normally love this place but if we’re paying $140 for dinner I’d at least expect...
Read moreMy partner and I celebrated our anniversary at Tokyo Steakhouse and we had an unbelievably memorable night. From the moment we walked we were greeted by the friendly and professional host Becca, who seated us at a cozy table near the hibachi grill. Our server Levi was attentive and courteous, taking our orders promptly and making sure we had everything we needed. He also surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our special occasion. The highlight of our night was the hibachi show by the talented and entertaining chef. He made us laugh with his jokes and tricks, and he cooked our food to perfection. We especially appreciated how the manager Eric took extra care of us, as we do not consume alcohol . He explained to us which sauces had cooked wine and which tricks involved alcohol, so we could avoid them. He also communicated with the chef that we were okay with the big fire, but no alcohol on the food. He even told us that the typical hibachi "train" had alcohol, so we could opt out of it. He was very respectful and understanding of our preferences, and we felt very comfortable and safe We had a wonderful time at Tokyo Steakhouse, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was festive. Thank you to Becca, Levi, Eric, and the chef for making our anniversary night...
Read moreThis place is absolutely incredible. I order from here pretty regularly for take-out & the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Today, I ordered $56 worth of food, it was placed in a paper bag, the hibachi container leaked inside the bag, and my bag ripped at the bottom, dropping all of my food. The only thing that was really ruined was my Filet and Shrimp with vegetables, but all of the food fell out of the bag itself. Now, you can imagine my frustration, however, I called Tokyo to report the incident, only to let them know that the bag was packaged pretty heavy. I did not expect a refund or replaced item, as things happen that are out of everyone’s control, ie- the paper bag integrity and unexpected leaks. I spoke with Glenn, who was sincerely apologetic and he offered to remake the food for me. After going back and forth for a few, he insisted I get my meal re-prepared. I came back to the restaurant for pickup and he had his crew make EVERYTHING that was part of my original order, not just the Filet meal. He truly went above and beyond and even if the food was awful, (which it wasn’t, it was fantastic, as always), I would be back to Tokyo simply for the excellent service. This could’ve been a terrible experience, but they certainly deserve kudos for this act of kindness and understanding. Thank you again, Glenn and...
