We eat at Pita Wayat least once a week. That may be changing. My daughter and I just purchased a sandwich. As the server went to put garlic on it we noticed that it was separated. All the times we have been in there we have never seen this before. But I trusted them and even ordered a tiny container of the sauce. Well when we got home and opened the sandwich we find it is oily the pita is completely soggy and mushy. The garlic sauce in the little cup was separated, almost looking curdling. I called the Fort Gratiot store and the manger said that they make the sauce in store now, I think maybe they should stop making it themselves. Again we trusted them and ate our food. With in 10 minutes after eating we realized our food is not going to stay us and the rest of the day is spent being sick

Food is soooo good. Now, I wouldn’t eat here daily as it’s not on the inexpensive side, it is a little pricier, but it’s soo worth the price. Photo is the one half of the quesopita as recommended by one of the cooks there. He’s very friendly. When I arrived, he didn’t recognize me from a previous visit, but just like the last time he asked what I wanted and also offered one of his recommendations to try. Last time he recommended something different. At any rate, each time was a good menu choice for my current appetite.

Chris and Devin are an asset to this location! With fantastic, fresh, and flavor packed food items these guys know how to advertise just how great this food is. Not only can you tell they believe in the food they are making, but they believe in building relationships with the guest that walk in. Always an incredible experience at the Port Huron Pita Way!

When we first came here, the owner was preparing our food. He was so kind. He let us sample the toppings, as we have never had Mediterranean food at this point in time. He encourages us to try new things and we LOVED everything we tried.

Since then, we have come back at least weekly. When we come, we are greeted by name with smiling faces. Holden, Devin and Chris are just a few of the wonderful employees we have had the pleasure of chatting with while we eat. Beyond great conversation, I am gluten intolerant and they are always very careful to keep that in mind, sometimes even as I have forgotten to remind them. The food is always fresh and the meat tasted like it’s hot off the grill any time of the day.

Overall, the customer service and the goods sold are hand down the best in the area and anyone who says otherwise just enjoys a life filled with misery and complaining. Some of these comments sounds absolutely ridiculous. I would love to see any one of these darlings go try to run that place for a night. They would quickly realize the tireless effort every employee here puts in to the satisfaction of their customers.

Thank you Pita Way employees,...

The food tastes very good, and the workers are also very friendly and patient. The glaring issue with this place is the price, and the portions for what you pay. Usually a bowl is going to cost $15 with a 1/4th a cup of meat and a large pile of rice. This is pretty lackluster considering the fact rice is extremely cheap. The other toppings don't raise the price, but are not of such quality to justify the cost. I'm a young guy who exercises and needs a lot of protein. If I get double the meat, the cost for a bowl is $20. For $20, you may expect maybe a cup of meat or 3/4ths of a cup, but you get less than 1/2 a cup, which is around 34 grams of protein. The bowl itself at this price would also have 90g+ carbs and 40g+ fat.

In summation, this place has a ridiculously marked up price for what is mostly cheap, filler food, while a small percentage is fresh and grilled. As I see it, the price would be okay if the meat that you got for these prices was doubled or at least increased by 50%.

This might be more of a corporate issue, but it still bothers me to the point where I don't want...

My husband and I have been here 3 times now, the first time we had a coupon for buy one get free, so we thought hey let’s try it. Needless to say we were hooked. The male staff is absolutely wonderful, the second time we went in there was a woman working and she was pretty rude and condescending, not only to me but to other customers as well. I had asked them the first time we went what one of the toppings was and they said it was pickled cabbage. So the next time I went, I asked for the pickled cabbage. She corrected me as if I was stupid and she had to educate me on the correct term. And was very rude the entire time we were ordering. Other than that, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant and 1 bad employee shouldn’t ruin the reputation of the place. The food is so good I could eat it everyday. We always get the “sandweech” and fries. The fries are SO good. Every time we’re in Fort Gratiot I’m begging my husband...
