Theyāve got great reviews. And the work was quality. My issue was, unfortunately, with the lack of communication and lying. I dropped off my phone Friday, and it was the end of the day. They were out of the IPhone 13 Max Pro screens, which obviously is not their fault. We agreed to pay the extra money to have one shipped overnight, and get the phone back the next day- as it would take 2-3 hours once they had the screen. I live alone, my phone is my only form of communication, and my heart has stopped before. I have my medical ID on it, my heart rate is tracked on it, etc. Itās quite literally a life line. So, this had seemed like the fastest way to have the screen repaired. The screen didnāt come Saturday- which, unfortunate, but things happen. My dad had to call to check in, as I was working and without an phone, and was just told it was due Monday. Again, that isnāt something they can control so I was just like āthis sucks, but Iāll have to make it workā. Monday rolls around, and my mom drives me to my cardiologist appointment in royal oak. I donāt have my phone to show her the medical files from my other doctor, or my recent heart rates for the last two months. But, I am able to send them after. So, that was worked out. We leave the volume up, so if they call? Weāre golden. 3:30 rolls around and nothing. They close at six. So, I call to check in on our way home so we can just stop by if itās done. The gentleman on the phone tells me heāll call us back in an hour because itāll be done. Amazing, right? So, we drive from Beaumont into port Huron. We get there about 4:45, and itās too late to go home and back if they finish. So, we hang out by the water. 5:30 rolls around and we donāt hear a thing. My mom goes in, because my heart rate has been all over. And the gentleman says they donāt even have the part there. She asks why he lied, and he just showed the tracking order to say they couldnāt do it without that. To be clear, Iām very aware they canāt control shipping. But to have just reached out, and been honest is literally all I ask from someone doing any kind of service for me. Just tell me itās delayed. Donāt make me wait around and wonder for days. Itās on me for not explaining more than this is my only form of communication. And why I needed it on me. But, I didnāt want to guilt someone into putting me in before other customers. I just wanted the service weād agreed on. He swore up and down thatād itād be done today. It was, finally. And it works great. He took $10 off the bill of $455- and eliminated the overnight shipping cost. Hopefully, they take it as a learning experience. Weāre all human, and make mistakes. Hopefully they get better about reaching out to other clients in the future if thereās an issue, and just tell them honestly if the part didnāt come in. I, unfortunately, wonāt feel comfortable coming back after the round about. But, I wonāt take away from the fact that the phone does- in fact- work. They did give me a screen protector and fixed the charging port. If you can handle the possibility of running in circles for a few days? Youāre safe. It was just a series of unfortunate events that didnāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. The owner Sal told me the lens cap is all that needed to be replaced on my phone since it was cracked. Camera still worked clearly from his observation and mine. $45 to remove and replace. Seemed fine, less expensive than the deductible on my phone insurance. A day after it was replaced the camera no longer worked. I believe whatever adhesive he used and had clamped the cap on with plastic vice grips ate away at/deteriorated my camera lens after it leaked in and dried. When I returned he tried to tell me that my camera lens was always bad and that I had only asked him to replace the lens cap. Which is not the case, I had previously asked him what all is wrong and how much it would be before I agreed to have the work done. He then tried to tell me the lens would be $145 to fix and when I told him that is not okay he tried to tell me that itās usually $240 and that he would be giving me a deal because he liked me. I then told him my deductible for my phone insurance is $100 and I never would have agreed to do any repair for more than that and that he was lying because he said the camera lens was still good when I came in the first time. He started to become very rude and still tried to get me to agree to fixing it which I said absolutely not, I didnāt want him touching it any further and demanded that I received my $45 back and eventually he did give me the refund but I still need to get my phone fixed now through insurance. He made a small problem a much larger one because he doesnāt use good practices on his repairs or good business practices. He then tried to take my receipt away which I wanted to keep for my records and I had to take it back. When I was already out of the store he yelled something at me and I opened the door back up to understand him, he has bad English communication skills, and he told me never to come back or I he would call the police. I told him Iām definitely not interested in coming back or sending anyone else his way either. I will be attempting to contact the BBB(Better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI brought in my iPhone 8+ for a screen replacement about two months ago. Initially everything was great, and while not exactly the same quality as the original screen (minor light bleeding on edges while watching content with lots of dark scenes), for the price I felt it was a very good value, certainly better than Appleās overpriced replacements. Service was very fast as well.
Fast forward a couple months and the top half of my screen stopped working. I called and was told to bring it in. Upon arriving and after a short wait, I was handed my phone back with a new screen! No hassle, nothing, just great service. These guys are running a small business, clearly care about their customers, and solved the problem perfectly. Iād rather have a business stand behind their work over anything. Getting harder to find that these days. Donāt hesitate to bring your repairs here, these...
