Big Boy — Restaurant in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

I decided to take my family out for dinner today and I thought you know my kids would enjoy a good big boy experience I always did as a kid. I often visit I often pass out big boys for larger chain restaurants lake chili's or Texas Roadhouse but he decided to go for the family experience. I really like big boys and I've made it many of them but I will say that this one is by far the worst it's never used to be that way and it's went downhill dramatically. To begin with my waitress was lazy literally stood at the end of the table to throw the straws halfway across a table handed all the drinks and had everybody else passed them around and then when they brought their food couldn't you and tell us which one didn't have sauce told us to figure it out I asked her if the salad bar was fresh she said yes I got up there the salad bar was so dried out that I wouldn't go back for a second plate. The rest of the food was so power at best the buns tasted dried out on the hamburger's my son said his philly cheesesteak was crispy And I was also informed that The Onion range tasted old. And to tap it off they set a couple next to us and the guy was so loud that you could hear him clear across the restaurant dropping F bomb after F bomb. Quite possibly the worst dining experience I've hadIn over 30 years the fish was over cooked i feel as if i literally threw $130...

If this review was three or four months ago, I'd be leaving it a 5☆ review. However, after the former owner's death have left the store in bad hands.

Multiple times since then, when going in the Salad Bar has near spoiling or old looking produce. That is when their is produce. Today for example there was only old Lettuce, English Cucumbers that weren't peeled, and Diced Tomatoes that looked like they were picked out of left over Pico de Gallo. There were no onion, carrots, and spinnach. Let alone the Ranch being so thick, it wasn't properly mixed while the other dressings were seperating. The other items they that replaced the tradition items once found are odd looking 'salads' such as Potatote, and Chicken but with one look you can tell the items inside were mentioned for other dishes. Lastly in the terms of food, the Portion sizes and ingredients have changed. My Big Boy Combo, had only a handful of fries. The Coleslaw were both under season, and uncrisp to the point of it being wet. Then for my burger the color of the cheese seemed off and it wasn't melty. After one taste you can tell its no longer American cheese but something similar to that of a low grade vegetable. It was also missing the shredded lettuce, and pickles.

The quality of the New wait staff has also dropped, most aren't attentive anymore and do not Remember...

my boyfriend and daughter were there for dinner the other day and we did not have a good experience. our waiter took my boyfriend's order, and the order for the baby, then without a word walked away to put our order in and never even asked for my order. We finally got someone back to our table who took my order. Next, our Appatizer and dinner order came out before we could even get back from the salad bar. We never got refills on our drinks, as he never came back to check on us. He was at the table behind us and was helping them, but never came back to our table. He ended messed up the specials and the table behind us order. Then after we were finished with all our food at once, we waited over 15-20 minutes, never was asked if we wanted a box, or dessert or a check. We wanted to order dessert and never even got the chance too. I took my daughter out to the car as she was getting antsy, and about 5 minutes later my boyfriend met me at the car after having to go up to the counter to ask for the bill. it was all just terrible.
