Ballarini Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

So I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, but due to being closed between 1400-1600 (which is when I usually drive home from work), I haven't found the time to. Today, I left work a little early and was able to get there before they closed for the afternoon. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! The pizza is amazing. Arguably the best in town. Dough is amazing with just a slight char on the bottom. The sauce tastes fresh and not like the highly processed stuff we're all used to this day and age. There is plenty of freshly grated cheese to cover the top. Along with that cheese pizza, I ordered a Hawaiin. Fresh, huge slices of ham all over the top of the pizza. As well as plenty of very fresh pineapple. You can tell they care about quality at this place! Wife and I enjoyed it so much, we're going back tomorrow to order 4 more....

I made it my personal quest to find the best pizza in St. Clair county and here it is folks. I like all different types of pizza and toppings. Now I typically go for the plain cheese well done for my control group and this little hidden gem is hands down, the best around. The flavor of the dough that is handmade is second to none. The sauce that is used it top tier and the mozzarella cheese is superior to anywhere else I have had. Not to mention that the gentleman that makes the pizza has outstanding customer service. Extremely polite and nice and has just an overall great family atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door and greeted by him. This will be our go to pizza place from now on and I highly recommend it to everyone who asks about pizza...

John and I usually go out to pizza at Watertower Pizza or Sweetwater’s. Last Friday, we were too tired to drive far and that was good luck for us. We tried Ballarini Pizza for the first time. A man with an Italian accent answered the phone. It was 5:30 pm and he had already made his limit of pizza for the day. We were the last pizza! Why is this relevant? Because on busy pizza nights, you will need to order early. This pizza was amazing. Fresh ingredients, crusty “real deal” crust, and gourmet combinations of ingredients.
