Strangest experience I have ever had. Went in as a first time client- Iām 27 and have had Botox a handful of times before, never needing more than 25 units. I get Botox as more of a preventative treatment than anything because Iām very expressive and have noticed fine lines recently. I called to ask about pricing, and let them know I had a gift card to use as well. Went in and when the doctor came in he just sat down and stared at me- no hello, didnāt ask what my concerns were. It felt so uninviting. I let him know what areas of concern I had (forehead and glabella, and a couple units for gummy smile only). He asked if I wanted crows feet (Iāve been told by every other injector that I do not have nor need crows feet treatment). Same thing about bunny lines. It felt salesy. I asked him how much it was per unit and he said the first time guest offer came to about $9 per unit (which I was totally happy with). I also was very adamant about wanting natural results with the ability to still move my face. He proceeded to treat the two areas with 36 units in just my forehead & glabella, which he did not disclose until I asked him after the treatment. Again, this I preventative. Iām an avid retinol & sunscreen user with minimal fine lines under 30, and so naturally I panicked a little about what the results would be when they set in.
It gets worse when I go to pay and the total is $400 AFTER my $100 gift card. I seriously asked her what I was paying for because the most I ever paid was maybe $300. She said it was by area, not unit (even though the doc told me a cost per unit). Total miscommunication or lack there of. On the phone I heard one price, and she told me I misheard her because of the bad phone connection, and that typically it would have cost me $657 without the intro offer or my gift card! She then told me to wait because she didnāt actually apply my gift card?? My total ended up being $270 when all was said and done even after my gift card, but I felt extremely blindsided and confused as to how they set their pricing. Maybe for someone who truly needs a lot of units, per area works great, but not for someone who typically gets a small dose to keep fine lines at bay. I felt taken advantage of and like they cared more about making a buck than treating my concerns. They lost what could have been a loyal customer because there was absolutely zero clear...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWOW now I see that I am by FAR not alone here...many, many other 1-star reviews about his attitude with Groupons. I told Dr. Senger I did not need frown line treatment - I have no problem there. But he told me of serious problems if I didn't take a 3rd (expensive) dose - and I looked like a freak for 3 months! He even said that with just the Groupon, he doesn't make any money...so I should have been suspicious! Once I saw the results, several days later, I filled out his chat 3 times, and tried calling, but got no calls back...I don't live in Ft. Lauderdale so could not just stop by.
I now stopped by, 10 months later, and the WONDERFUL receptionist was just looking me up, when he appeared and asked what the problem was. When I began speaking, he stared down at his phone, and I asked "could you please look at me when I am speaking to you?" and he said he had a call (not true) and that I had never tried to contact him (I even tried to charge back with the credit card, but of course he had a signed charge...) I told him I had trusted him - but he was only interested in making money (as many others say here!)
He told me that I was trespassing and to leave immediately. I said I was waiting for the receptionist to look up my file. He said "she is my employee and she will not do that." Then he came within one inch of my face and kept verbally threatening me. He is a big guy and thinks he can threaten simply with his presence. I continued standing there, though finally left knowing that an honest review is the best way to help others avoid people like this.
The nurse held the door open, having obviously heard about (and participated in) this deceptive behavior before, and I walked out, followed aggressively by him...
I only hope the receptionist takes my advice and finds other employment - she was so nice. Please avoid this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been a client of Dr. Sengerās for over a year and have had much success with multiple services under his hand.
Over the past year, Iāve lost over 30 pounds through his semaglutide compound, which has absolutely changed my life. To ensure I was losing mostly fat and not excessively losing muscle, I was offered to stand on a scale that gave a composition reading of your bodyāwhich is a standout extra in the semaglutide experience; many people I have spoken to about this medicine are never given the guidance throughout this process to ensure they donāt fall victim to āozempic buttā or any other unfavorable side effects.
His botox placement is meticulous and he is beyond gentle with the needleā and thatās coming from someone who is terrified of needles. With each appointment, Dr. Senger took the time to listen to my concerns and offered suggestions that made me feel comfortable and heard. Patient and professional, Dr. Senger truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Senger and the XS MedSpa staff are not only engaging and accommodating, but they are also extremely knowledgeable while adding a fun and human element to a typically sterile experience. I truly do enjoy my visits while talking with Dayane and Crystal and always look forward to my next...
