When trying to support your own turns into......It was my birthday weekend staycation at a resort for the weekend. I had a 10am massage appointment and used my major credit card to hold it via their website. I had plans the entire weekend. I received a text the day before asking if I can move my appointment to 12pm. Sigh....and it begins. I approved. I had to rearrange my special schedule because of this and because it was a last minute notification I couldn't find another appointment elsewhere.
I sat in the parking lot for an hour. The hours of operation on the door is false advertisement. No one is there during store hours. At 12pm I texted asking for an eta....I saw the person rush in. I gave her 5 minutes and as I entered she was mopping the floor. Come on this should have been done the day before or that morning....store hours. Not during service time. It's super cute inside.
She offered me water, etc. Asked what type of music I wanted...undressed. She gets a solid A for the massage. It would have been an A+++ if she would have asked me if I wanted my scalp and face massaged. This tech massaged my whole scalp and then proceeded to go straight to my clean face that had expensive serums....WHO does that??? Now I have a dirty face and hair all over the place. Now I have to go back and redo my hair and rewash my face.
Now its time to pay and they informed me that they do not accept credit cards (but they held my credit card for appointments) but take apple pay, zelle, cash app, etc..Suppose the customer didn't have any of those options but the credit card?..Wow! I left a tip...Cute spot, tech was professional, decent prices........You have potential but operations need...
   Read moreIt was my first time here and my first massage ever. I arrived about 10 mins early incase there was some intake (asking about any pain, places that I want more attention on, etc..). I did have to wait some time in my car because the owner was out so no one was inside and the front door was locked. I would suggest that they get a receptionist as the business grows or have some type of support. The massage itself was good. I think that it was relaxing and there was care in the process. I believe that the business would benefit from some guest service training maybe? Not because anyone was rude or anything. Andrea was sweet but I think that upon arrival, there was not an initial conversation that would makes a guest feel more comfortable. I think that would make this experience so much better! Andrea offered me champagne or water which was nice though. I am giving a 5 star in great faith that this business will continue to grow and thrive!
