2018 is when I decided to tie the knot with the love of my life, I had no idea where to start when it came to jewelry especially finding that perfect engagement ring. After many attempts at locating a store nearby, I had stumbled upon Jet Jewelry, as I walked in I was a bit skeptical at first as it appeared recently opened, but then I was greeted by the owner Nina, she had asked me do I need help looking for anything specific, so I simply responded by informing her I was in search of a engagement ring, but I had no idea where to even start. She had then asked me what my price range was, after I had given her a number she started showing me a wide variety of options, as I was looking at everything, I felt she knew that I was lost, so she started informing me about cuts as well as different assortments of brands. I was astonished with her patience as I was going back on my decisions constantly and after about 30-45 mins passing she simply asked me how would I describe my now fiancé. It was amazing after I gave her some details she chose one out herself and brought it to me, it was honestly perfect, I was astonished her with just details about an individual she was able to pick out a ring that perfectly suited her style, it honesty showed her experience as well as expertise. We called ahead to inquire if they offer authentication services. We had bought a set of earrings elsewhere and wanted to confirm that the gemstones were authentic. Guy on the phone was professional enough and confirmed that they would be able to provide this service for $10.

When we arrive and mention that we had discussed authentication services over the phone, the lady who seemed to be running the counter kept repeating, "not interested...not interested." She seemed to me to be wearing this super-fake smile, and seemed to have this really snobby attitude.

She seemed bothered that we had wasted her time. She apparently didn't even feel the need to explain to us why she was refusing to provide the service we had agreed to over the phone. Since she didn't feel the need to explain to us, draw your own conclusions about why she refused to provide service.

TLDR; we called ahead, they said they could do the service; when we came, the lady seemed super bothered, when in fact she had wasted our time

I have been looking for fine jewelry from only the best place for the longest time. Living on the Eastern Shore in Maryland, there are not very much options to choose from shop wise. I first discovered JET Jewelry online through their ETSY shop and being very pleased with their selection I decided to make the 4 hour trip to Fort Lee to look at more pieces. First and foremost, the quality of merchandise and the attentiveness of the staff was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better. Nina and Tommy were VERY friendly and took their time to go over pieces that would match my style, in which I have trouble with myself. They have the best quality jewelry at the best prices and also have access to various luxury timepiece dealers and can find any used or new make or model. Let me tell you, I walked out with a ring and necklace that I’ve been feeling fabulous wearing ever since I’ve left and can’t wait to go back for more.
