Nova Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Lee

We ordered our regular pizza for delivery today. Usually it's really good but today, for I don't understand why, they delivered a reheated pie. The pie was NOT freshly made. Pizza was old... has been sitting out for a while. We ate half of it because my husband was hungry but we were both very disappointed and annoyed at the same time. We are regular customers. They shouldn't have done that. Honestly, they shouldn't do that at all. Not for new or regular customers. I payed $22.90 for a stale pie. You can see that they just added cheese to the slices with toppings. Horrible!!! I called to complain but there wasn't anyone there to complain to. Poor management.

The response from the owner was ridiculous. The pie couldn't have cooled down that much. I live not even 5 min away and the delivery came rather quickly. I know what a fresh made pie looks and tastes like and this simply way not it. I agree that the pie was made fresh at some point, maybe an hour or so before. Otherwise, you wouldn't see the difference between the slices. Pictures don't lie. Arrogance from the owner is really not the way to go. You messed up. Apologize and that's it. Don't make excuses and make it seem that your customers don't know any better. That's just not right. Definately disappointed. I tried to do a take out tonight for my family but not only did my food take 50 minutes to be made in store (with two reminders saying my food still hasn't been out...), once the food actually came out, pizza cheese had spilled over to the opposite side making the entire pie lob-sided with cheese and veggies on one side with nothing on the other side.

Store owners were very unapologetic about the situation and offered me a garlic knot as an apology. I had to complain about it out loud and the husband (one of the two owner) looked away and sent his wife (the other owner) to take care of the situation. She came over and offered me Sprite as an apology... and then had the guts to say "my employees are new and they must have made a mistake".

Do better, your customer's wasted time cannot be recouped by can of soda or garlic knot. Instead all I wanted was a sincere apology. Your employees are still the face of your franchise. Don't blame others, own up the mistake and APOLOGIZE for the inconvenience and...

I absolutely love the pizza here. It’s definitely the best pizza shop in all of NJ and I’ve tried almost all of them... The ingredient are top quality, everything from the cheese, dough, topping to the quality chicken they season and prepare is top notch and you can taste the difference. It’s my go to spot for lunch whenever I find myself in jersey and I cannot cross the GW bridge to NY without making a quick stop for pizza night with the family. The Buffalo Pizza is my absolute favorite, you will not get a better chicken slice anywhere and the crust is just perfect. I always feel nostalgic coming here because it reminds me of the old Ninja Turtle movies and how they went nuts for pizza... I can’t wait until my daughter is old enough for pizza so I can introduce her to her first slice here... keep up the good work guys,...
