Plaza West — Local services in Fort Lee

Plaza West used to be a great shopping center, but it's showing its age. It's very unfortunate that the supermarket space has been taken over by a very ethnic market that has little of interest to a majority of shoppers. I shop in many ethnic markets, but they have to be more broad-based than this one. However, Franco's Metro is still serving delicious Italian food, and it's better than ever. It's one of the best Italian restaurants in northeast Bergen. The little pizzeria is always reliable and serves one of the best pies around, along with other authentic, popular dishes. I love how every time l go there it's empty and l don't have to wait on line and deal with people. I wonder why. The young lady at the Korean sausage spot was rude and had a terrible presence. The other oldr lady was at least, nice.The big fat girl at the bakery was mean and abnoxious, a very horrible demeanor and the worst customer sevice ever. She looks at people with disgust. I went there for the Liquor World as I know they have a very good selection of French wines, covering a broad price range. What's is good about it, is that it is big, so you can look at the wines and make your selection at your pace. I also bought a French brandy, St Vivant, which I cannot find anywhere else, and which is excellent quality without 'damaging' one's bank account. They had Veuve Cliquot (yellow box) on sale!
