Off the bat, I think the sushi is pretty good for the price. My issue is with the customer service. My wife made an order about 2 hours before pick up. When I arrived, one it wasn’t ready yet and two the “chef” was kind of rude. He asked me what I order, I said I didn’t know because my wife order. He proceeded to tell me that he didn’t know what my order is if I didn’t know. I didn’t expect him to know but I am pretty sure anywhere you go to pick up food they ask what’s the phone number associated with the pick up not what you order??? Obviously this place works like that too because I told him that I can give him the phone number and he was like “oh okay”. I don’t get that whole interaction at the beginning. While I was waiting another couple arrived to pick up their order(that wasn’t ready either) he proceed to apologize to them in Korean and explained they were busy.
Um just because I don’t look Korean doesn’t mean I don’t know what you’re saying. Where was my apology and explanation for why my food wasn’t ready??? I don’t get that kind of service because I’m not Korean?? Interesting. At least be consistent with your customer service, I can tell he was focused on finished up all the order as they were closing. But if you can’t handle that and giving good customer service just keep your mouth closed and let the other person working there answer questions and such. The couple who arrived before me got their platter right before. I assumed they order before me but I can’t confirm or deny that since we ordered 2 hours in advance. It wasn’t really a big deal except they proceeded to give them service(something free) for the wait. I had to wait 5 extra minutes as they cut and wrapped their service before I got the rest of my order. Again terrible customer service. I didn’t get any service(I can only imagine why…) nor did I get an apology for that extra wait. I did however get to wait more as they were trying to figure out if I paid or not. Spoiler alert… we did, took them a minute to figure that out as well as telling me no initially.
I will say the other person who works their(usually with a hat on) he did kinda say sorry he kind of joked and laughed a little and say we were so busy we just forgot sorry.
Probably going to give them one more chance before I stop going there and...

While in the US, it always calls forth the images of California rolls, which evolved in Los Angeles in the 1960s using local avocados paired with crab meat to replace hard-to-find fresh, fatty tuna and spiral rainbows of fish. Sushi continues to evolve and grow as more and more establishments learn to appreciate its simple yet complex nature.
Located in Royal Plaza, shared with two other stores off of Bergen Blvd in Fort Lee, LOL Sushi is family owned/family operated, and we came for an Elite event thanks to Sara and the Yelp team.
Upon entering as first-timers to this cozy restaurant, my partner and I were greeted by the owner, Bo, and her family, who concentrate on takeouts rather than dine-in with one table.
Their menu includes typical sushi bar appetizers along with sushi, sashimi, standard rolls, and special rolls.
We decided on a double order of vegetable rolls comprising a variation of avocado, cucumber, and lettuce for takeout.
The rolls were freshly made to order using fresh, authentic ingredients packaged beautifully with a generous amount of ginger, shoyu, and Wasabi. It’s pretty cool to see the chef at work while one waits for your rolls/sushi to be ready. The lunch menu comes with a miso soup. We got a chance to exchange a few words with my fellow Yelper, Thiago.
With top-tier quality, incredibly fresh ingredients, and healthy portions, every bite was tastefully delicious; we can...
Read moreI have found the perfect sushi take out restaurant. Up in Fort Lee NJ LOL Sushi is a must try takeout sushi!!! I met the owner Bo ( sorry my friend if I misspelled it) she was so warm and welcoming when I entered the store. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the heavenly roll. I actually was indecisive on what to get because everything sounded delicious. The rolls are freshly made to order. One of the main things that made me appreciate this place was that it's a family affair. Bo and her husband, mom in law , friend and son where all working diligently. Which for me that's the best part seeing a loving family working together which then pours the love onto the menu item making it a delicious meal. The rolls were packaged beautifully with a generous amount of ginger, shoyu and Wasabi. They included a miso soup which was perfect for this weather like a warm hug for your soul. I'm really grateful for having crossed paths with this restaurant. They do catering as well and the platters look gorgeous...I was being nosy ☺️☺️☺️ So please stop by get some take out and enjoy it as lunch dinner snack or even for your party or work gatherings ...you won't be disappointed 😌 🙌. Enjoy .... Itadakimasu #tastebudadventures...
