I was excited to visit the restaurant after learning it had changed names from its previous establishment. While BEEF SOUP (Seolleongtang) and Braised Beef Ribs (Galbijjim) seemed to be the main dishes, I decided to order something that might not be as popular, as I often find that less-ordered items can reveal the overall quality of the menu.
I opted for the Spicy Honeycomb Tripe & Beef Soup. Since the dish involves beef tripe, itās crucial that the tripe is well-prepared, as poorly cleaned tripe can have an unpleasant odor, making it hard to eat.
When the food first arrived, the color of the soup wasnāt very appetizing at first glance. The side dishes included pickled chili peppers, radish kimchi, and seasoned chives. While the sides were generally fine, I felt that the radish kimchi didnāt pair well with Seolleongtang, which was a bit disappointing.
However, the Spicy Honeycomb Tripe & Beef Soup exceeded my expectations. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too overpowering, and most importantly, all the ingredients were well-prepared, with no unpleasant odors from the tripe.
I look forward to my next visit. I hope they can refine the kimchi selection a bit to complement their soups better, making this a place I would visit specifically for their delicious...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI heard this place recently opened, so we decided to stop by after a round of golf. Itās awesomeālots of free parking, which was a big deal for us! We ordered Ox Bone Soup, Spicy Honeycomb Tripe & Beef Soup, and Galbijjim (ģ¤ė ķ, ģź³±ģ°½ ģ¼ķ° źµė°„, ź°ė¹ģ°), and everything was exceptional. This spot is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Korean food. The soups were rich and flavorful, with tender beef and a comforting broth, while the Galbijjim was equally fantasticājuicy, fall-off-the-bone short ribs in a perfectly balanced savory sauce. The side dishes were fresh, and the green onion kimchi (ķź¹ģ¹) was my favorite. The service was friendly and attentive, and Iāll definitely be coming back. It was the perfect way to end a day of golf. They also have early morning specials, so next time Iāll be sure to try the...

Portions were huge, they gave generous amounts of meat in both soups: Beef soup came with tender slices of beef, and noodles (you season your own broth with the salt, pepper and scallion garnish! Light and soothing broth) Spicy beef & leek soup reminded me of a birria consome it was very hearty and ended up taking half of it to go because it was so filling Banchan was seasoned nicely, I thoroughly enjoyed the crunch of the radish and how balanced the onion and jalapeƱos were.
Also I saw the table next to us get a cheese flamed beef dish - looked absolutely massive could easily feed 4 people.
Looking forward to coming back to try more, they have a NYC location coming...
