Target — Local services in Fort Wayne

I normally shop at this Target location and absolutely love it. However, today I had a disappointing experience.

First, I noticed there were several holes in the ceiling with buckets of water placed around the center of an aisle. While the area was somewhat blocked off, it was concerning that no one appeared to be actively addressing the issue—especially since the store was just recently remodeled.

My main concern, though, was at self-checkout. One of my items rang up for more than the price listed on the shelf, so I pressed the “assistance” button to get help. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes, but no one came to assist me. Several employees working the registers saw me standing there but did not step in or call someone over to help. As someone who also works in customer service, I understand being busy—but I also know there are ways to communicate or delegate when help is needed.

Ultimately, I gave up and just purchased the item at the higher price because I had other places to be. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I visit this Target several times a month and usually have great experiences, but today really missed the mark. I hope to see better customer service moving forward.

—A loyal but...

This target scammed me for $530... I drove 2 hours away(from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne) to purchase 2 cameras from this store that were supposed to be new.

I assumed that everything was fine and that I purchased

2x canon t5i ............................... But what I received was

1 canon t5i that had some type of gunk on it.

2nd camera wasn't even the right model. There was a canon xt {2010) model in the box. (a employee must've switched the devices or this item was a return).

I am very very upset at this. ........................ The assistant manager (I forgot her name) told me that I would have to drive 2 hours back to the store in order for them to (see) what they can do.

Update. .... 3/18/2018 I just called the store and both the assistant manager and the general manger are...

Great products and selection, great customer service staff. However I found that the items sold at most other stores like Kroger and Walmart were over priced at this target store by at least $1... average was $1.89 higher than items sold at other stores. I also had to jump through a fire ring when exchanging my daughter's clothes for ones that fit. For her 1st birthday family gave her 18 month size "outfit". when our daughter received this gift, the shirt was 12 months and the pants were 18 months. I took this back to exchange, but I had to find it in the same price and same brand... most other stores would allow same price exchange. I could not find another outfit in the same brand and same price. So I just got cash back and went to Walmart to get cute garanimals brand...
