I've really hesitated to leave this review because I don't like being a negative person but I just have to say the following. While this boutique has some absolutely beautiful gowns and I'm thrilled to see most people have great experiences, I'm heartbroken at my experience from a purchase I made during their Thrifty Thursday sale a few months ago. The dress I bought was my dream dress. It had everything I had been looking for and it was presented during the sale as a size 16. I thought to myself "WHAT LUCK!!" and claimed it and paid for it. I was so excited once it arrived only to be so devastated when I tried it on to find it didn't fit and after checking the size tag to see it was actually a size 14. I reached out to the boutique with my concerns and was told even though the designer tag says it's a 14 they "felt it fit more like a 16". I just really feel that one's personal opinion shouldn't override the real tag size so a person isn't mislead. I understand this was a "as is/final sale/no returns/refunds" event, but this was a big deal to me and I feel the size of the dress was deliberately misrepresented during the sale. If I had known it was a tag size 14, I would have passed on it. I've taken the dress to a few different alteration businesses and no one is able to help me make this dress fit without changing it completely. So, now I'm out around $280 and stuck looking at a dress that I can't wear. I've shed way too many tears over this and now have to find a way to afford another dress that will actually fit when I was already on a tight budget. Hopefully I'll be able to resell the dress to recoup what I lost and find "the one" somewhere else. I found this place because it popped up as an AD on Facebook. After viewing their website and Facebook page, I had saw a dress I liked. I made an appointment on a Saturday to go try it on and look around to see if I liked any other dresses. I tried on the dress I was there for and I did like it, but wasn’t completely wowed. Then my consultant Jasmine suggested a dress she thought I would like. It was strapless which I wasn’t a fan of but I went ahead and gave it a try. I tried the dress on and was in complete awww. She even suggested to me that if I wanted to add straps to feel more comfortable that I could and she gave me a recommendation of a place in Arlington. The dress fit perfect, hugged me in all the right ways, had a long train, and was completely detailed from top to bottom. I do plan on adding strap to the dress but that’s because it’s my personal preference. Nevertheless, I couldn’t have found a better dress! Jasmine even suggested a veil to go with and it matched the dress perfectly. Moral of the story, trust your consultant, even if it’s not something your a fan of in the beginning. You will not be disappointed visiting Blush Love Bride. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Also if you do go, just know the dress you buy is a one of a kind! I had such a wonderful experience at Blush Love! Blush Love was my first of three shops yesterday, so going in I was nervous, yet excited. Emily was incredible, more than accommodating, welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt she was professional, yet honest and super personable. She walked my guests and me through the entire process and kindly answered any and all questions we had and addressed all concerns. Emily pulled a dress a small amount over budget, but fell within everything I loved and absolutely didn’t about others I’d tried. I was hesitant at first … but tried it anyway and I LOVED it, but still wanted to go to my other appointments just to see what else was out there. In the end, nothing made me feel like when I put that one dress on. SWOON. I contacted Emily to ask if I could swing by to say “YES!!” to my dress. She stayed after close to make sure I got my dress, walked me through alterations and all. I took my dress home right then and will need minimal alterations, because she fit me so well!
